☁️ The Village That Discovered the Cloud
Once upon a time, there was a young computer student named Daniel who lived in a small village called Green Valley. Daniel loved computers, but his village had only a few computers, limited storage devices, and a very slow internet connection.
One day, Daniel's teacher gave the class an assignment:
“Explain how people can store and use information without keeping everything on their own computer.”
Daniel was confused.
“How can I use my files if they are not inside my computer?” he asked.
His teacher smiled and said, “Welcome to the world of Cloud Computing.”
☁️ What Is the Cloud?
The teacher explained that the cloud is not a physical cloud in the sky. It is a network of powerful computers called servers, located in data centers around the world.
These servers can store files, run applications, process information, and provide computing resources through the internet.
Daniel imagined having a giant computer somewhere far away that he could access whenever he needed it.
💻 Daniel's First Experience
The next day, Daniel created an important school project. Instead of saving it only on his laptop, he uploaded it to a cloud storage service.
Later that evening, his laptop suddenly stopped working.
Daniel became worried.
“Oh no! My project is gone!”
But then he remembered that he had stored it in the cloud.
He borrowed his friend's phone, connected to the internet, logged into his account—and there was his project!
Daniel smiled.
“So even if my computer is damaged, I can still access my files!”
🌍 The Three Great Services
Daniel's teacher then introduced him to three important cloud computing models.
1. IaaS – Infrastructure as a Service
Instead of buying expensive physical servers, a company can rent computing resources such as virtual machines, storage, and networks from a cloud provider.
Daniel thought:
“It's like renting a computer instead of buying one.”
2. PaaS – Platform as a Service
Developers can
