START ANYWAY
Sometimes we wait for the perfect moment to begin.
When I have enough money.
When I have the right connections.
When I feel ready.
When everything makes sense.
But life has taught me something:
You don’t need to see the whole road before you take the first step.
Faith often begins where certainty ends.
Abraham had to leave before he knew exactly where he was going.
Peter had to step out of the boat before he experienced what was possible on the water.
And you may have to start before you feel ready.
Your first step may look small.
Start the business.
Write the song.
Apply for the job.
Go back to school.
Start praying again.
Try again.
Dream again.
Don’t despise small beginnings.
“Do not despise these small beginnings…” — Zechariah 4:10
I don’t know what you’re trying to start today, but I want to encourage you:
START.
You may not know how it will end.
But God already knows.
