Marriage was a complicated thing to me while growing up because of what I see some women go through and I wonder if it’s worth it.
So, I told myself this thing called marriage was not for me, So I vowed not to get involved in such stress.
As times goes on, I got admission into the university, on getting there I told God to connect me to the right people that will help me know God for myself and grow in the depth, breathe, width, and height of his knowledge.
God answered this prayer beyond expectation by bringing men, women, friends who knew God my way and I learnt under them. The teaching of Gods word renewed my mind and helped me understand LOVE and its characteristics according to Gods original plan for man.
I started seeing things differently and this changed my view about marriage and every other area of life.
I had a male friend who my heart was drawn to having been friends over time, he was the only male friend who visits because I don’t entertain male visitors for safety purpose. In my heart I felt we will end up as one.
But while I graduated and left school, I felt sad because distance will affect us seeing and I told him somethings which he thought was a joke.
God led me to CFCI after I traveled home, I remembered telling the person who invited me I am tired of churches at home because I have learnt under teachers who understood God’s word and so getting such pastors will be difficult at home. He promised I will get more if I attend the Christmas service in under DDrMatthew Adejunmobiand I must say it was still God ordering my steps unknown to me. I got value in that service, and I decided to learn more under him as long as I am home.
A camp meeting was organized by late Bishop known as Word Army Camp Meeting, I attended and listened to him teach the word and I was awe at his understanding and in-depth of God’s Word. After the first day I approached him to say thank you for teaching me after returning home from school without hope of seeing a teacher of God’s word like it was in school. Pst Mathew decided to give me an opportunity to speak for some minutes at the meeting, I never knew a young man was in the congregation thinking of how to marry this lady.
Prior to that day I was in need of water and a young man was holding one sachet of water so on hearing me looking for water he said to me take this. I was happy and appreciated him because water was scarce and non-available at that moment.
After the camp meeting, someone sent me message on Facebook and I responded to his greeting. Few days later he chatted me up again, I responded and after few conversations I had this peace unexplained. It was then I realized he was the man who gave me water at the camp.
I told someone this person chatting me will ask me to marry him and he said to me has he said anything concerning that, I responded no, but I sense in my heart he will because I have peace compared to my friend in school whom I already love though yet to speak.
Guess what, it came to pass as I sensed in my heart after some time. When he finally asked, I accepted not because he is the one my heart was yearning for initially but because I knew in my heart even before he asked from the moment we started chatting.
And I must confess marrying him is the one of the best decisions I made in my life, he has made life easy for me, we build our home as we desire and want it as long as it makes us happy, we allow Gods word help and guide in decision making.
We live as friends, as play mate, as help to each other. Whoever is available at a time handles whatever needs to be done in the house. The work in the house is everyone responsibility, we smile, we fight, we play, we do everything together.
Our differences are resolved in love and Gods word
As I call you MM {MY MAN} thank you for giving me peace in our home and being a good father to the kids. We love you.

From a wife heart to a husband, I pray God will send you HELP and send MEN to remember you for good.
God will provide all you need to make life easy for the family as the man of the house and you will do it with ease and gladness in Jesus’ name.
