The year was 1910 when Henry Ford developed a production process at the then Ford Motor Company that sold 10 million inexpensive Model T vehicles and amassed a vast fortune.

The focus of the production process was to solve the problem of inefficiency in automobile manufacturing, and the results unquestionably proved him right.

His fortune-making process included three major components:

The Standardization of Products.
The Intensification of the Labor Process.
The use of specialized equipment and assembly lines (tools) to increase productivity.

While some may argue that we are no longer in the industrial age, the following lines will demonstrate how you can leverage Mr. Ford's ideas to create your company's fortune!

The standardization of products: In this aspect, he ensured that nothing was handmade or left to artisanry. He implemented the use of machines that followed a predetermined pattern and produced identical products consistently.

You: Although you can rely on your team members' intelligence to execute tasks, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) ensures they consistently deliver the desired quality of work.

The intensification of the labor process: By implementing assembly line production, vast quantities of the exact same Model T car could be produced at an unprecedented speed.

You: For your company, your process will be like an assembly line. It represents a structured pattern of how you accomplish tasks and achieve results. With a well-planned process in place, you never have to worry about your team doing things incorrectly. They will always do things efficiently and accurately.

The use of tools to increase productivity: Ford employed machines and equipment to enable workers to perform heavy tasks faster and more efficiently, relying more on discipline than craftsmanship.

You: Now that you have established your SOPs and processes in your company, utilizing a tool like Beezop allows you to structure them into basic tasks following Beezop's step-by-step model. You can delegate these tasks to your team members and easily monitor their progress, enabling you to accomplish tasks faster and more efficiently without requiring constant human interaction.

Imagine implementing a structured approach to how your team accomplishes tasks and witnessing them consistently reach targets faster. Beezop makes this possibility a reality.

First, what are processes?

Processes are a series of steps or actions that are taken to achieve a particular result or goal. Like the list of things you do when you just hired a new team member, your list of activities when you want to prepare your favourite meal, or how you commute to work every day. You will always have a first, then a second...e.t.c. in every single thing you do daily.

It applies in the same way to your startup or small business.

Imagine having a process that always works to get new clients. Imagine a process to always make your content go viral. Imagine a process to close $10,000 deals every time for your company. As long as it is a goal you always have to reach daily or weekly, you NEED a process.

So how do you create your business processes?

1. Identify a major goal your business will always need to accomplish.
2. Write out the steps it would take to reach that goal every time with no mistakes. (ensure you include all the details needed)
3. Use a tool like beezop.com to document your newly created process.

Documenting your business process on Beezop is fun because it transforms them into basic steps and tasks, makes it easy for you to delegate the whole process or a part of it to any of your team members, and has templates you can edit and make yours.

Hi there, I’m Charles, one of the co-founders of Beezop. We started the company to solve the problems we faced in our businesses. Here's my own story:

It all began when I started a website design company as a solo founder.

I worked hard to deliver high-quality work to my clients. And as a result, I kept getting more clients.

At one point, I couldn’t handle the demand all by myself and started hiring people to join the company.

It felt good to finally have a team. The company felt “solid”.
But not for long.

I realized that even as I hired people, my workload didn’t seem to reduce.

You see, because I cared about the quality of the work our clients were getting, I micromanaged a lot.

And I found myself explaining the same things over and over again.
It took too long for people to fully understand how things should be done.

And when they finally did, I relied on them so much that if they took a vacation or resigned, work would scatter.

I tried creating training MANUALs, but people weren't following them. Even when they did, there was no way to know without asking or MANUALly checking. (Pun intended)

Things got frustrating as I kept asking myself these questions:
– How can I get my team to do things the right way every time?
– How do I avoid repeating myself over and over again?
– How can I delegate without fear?
– Is there a way to ensure that the quality of work is consistent irrespective of the person doing it?
– How can I get new employees to quickly understand how we work?
– How do I build a business that doesn’t scatter when a key employee leaves?

While I pondered on these things, my friend Marieanne, a business consultant, reached out to me.

She said she had noticed some problems that a lot of her consulting clients faced. She wanted to work on a software tool to solve the problem.

When she explained the problems, they were the same ones I had been experiencing!

We decided to work together to solve this problem. And along the way, we reached out to Hope to join us as our CTO.

That’s the story of how Beezop was born.

And the result has been life-changing.

Remember that website design company? Well, all those problems have been solved.

We’ve documented all our processes on Beezop. Everybody in the company knows how things should be done.

With Beezop’s step-by-step format, new employees understand our processes quickly and easily.

I no longer repeat myself unnecessarily, and it’s now easy to delegate work.

It’s been surprising to see how such a simple tool could solve so many problems.

Now, Marieanne, Hope Uwa, and I (and the entire Beezop team) are committed to making Beezop the best tool for our customers.

I welcome you to join us on this journey.

If you can relate to any of the problems we’re solving, I'd love to show you how Beezop works. Please request a demo here: https://lnkd.in/dc4TAw47
