Som Arts is a graphics design label that brings to you daily exquisite and exciting designs created using powerful graphics design software. This page exists as a medium to showcase inspiring graphics design works and to enable me better serve you, my prospective client.

All said, I am into the graphics design business and can produce fantastic branding graphics for you in the likes of; Logos, Business cards, Postcards, Flyers and Posters. MAIL EXPRESS
Mail Express is a Logo I created for a delivery service that offers both courier and postal services. Its generic round shape makes it a suitable stamp material. In this post, the Logo is on display in various forms with its original being the one at the middle. This logo takes an abstract for that portrays speed, security, timely delivery, Trustworthiness, respect for confidentiality and wide coverage.

It can be clearly seen that the core of the logo which can be found at the center takes the form of a "folded highway" ; this derived from the second word of the name; "Express". This highway has the usual lane markings characteristic of a regular express road but the forward arrow in the marking to the extreme right indicates straight forward delivery. This shows respect for confidentiality and Trustworthiness in the way deliveries are passed as is to their various destinations.

It will also excite you to know that viewing this figure from another angle reveals an envelope. Its indication being the native envelope gradient given to represent the under layer of the express which has being folded slightly inwards. Finally, the logo is bounded by double ended arrows that go round and meet at both ends to portray all round security and wide coverage.

LOGO 3D MOCK UP

One attribute of a good logo is versatility which is the ability to be used for many things. Today I put my Logo through this test by creating a three dimensional visual. To convince you that I am not using illusions, I made the depth of the logo carry a different colour gradient from the surface. This piece can be presented in any angle depending on what it's being used for at the moment.

Some of the applications I had in mind while doing this are: outdoor signage and on screen ADs
