Legal research slows you down when you’re constantly checking whether an authority is still good law, cross-referencing multiple sources, and trying to piece together the strongest line of argument under time pressure.

LawPavilion Primsol gives you more than access to cases and legislation it gives you clarity. As one of the largest e-law libraries for Nigerian law, it combines comprehensive legal materials with citation verification and authority treatment signals, so you can quickly see what is reliable, what has been distinguished, and what still holds weight in court.

Instead of spending hours verifying, you build arguments with certainty and move with the confidence that your authorities will stand.

Not every procedural mistake can be corrected by amendment.

The Supreme Court in ALARO v. JIMBA & ORS (2026) LPELR-83495(SC) reaffirmed that a fundamentally defective notice of appeal remains incompetent where leave of court was required but never obtained.

Some legal research moments feel almost cinematic that quiet satisfaction when a search finally lands on the exact authority that holds your entire argument together. One judgment, one paragraph, one well-placed citation, and suddenly the submission clicks into place.

That is exactly where LawPavilion Primsol comes in.

Instead of spending time chasing scattered authorities, Primsol keeps lawyers consistently positioned with relevant cases, updated judgments, and dependable legal backing right when it matters. So when that “perfect paragraph” moment arrives, you’re not lucky you’re already prepared.

Because strong arguments aren’t built on chance. They’re built on access, speed, and the right authority at the right time.

Your parent dies owing a bank… can the bank come knocking at your door?

On our next X Space Series, we’re unpacking Daura & Anor v Union Bank (2024) LPELR-62008(SC) and what the Supreme Court really says about inheritance, liability, and where the law draws the line.

If you think “debt dies with the debtor,” this one will make you pause.

Set your reminder. You don’t want to miss this one.

Lawful possession is not presumed. Once possession of fi****ms or ammunition is established, the burden shifts to the accused to show lawful authority.

In Sunday v. State (2026) LPELR-83413(CA), the Court of Appeal reaffirmed that while conviction for possession stood, the findings on conspiracy and attempted armed robbery were set aside.

A reminder that criminal liability can turn on what is proved, what is presumed, and what must be explained.
