Two years of Abba’s Knights. ❤️

What started as a vision has grown into a community, a movement, and a space where children are being equipped, encouraged and reminded of who they are and what they can become.

I remember sitting with my design notes in the early days, exploring ideas for what the Abba’s Knights identity could look like. Looking back at those sketches now, alongside the events, campaigns and moments we’ve created since, feels really special.

I’m grateful to have played a small part in giving this vision a visual voice and to have watched it grow over the years.

Most of all, I’m grateful for the people behind the work and for God’s grace that has carried the vision this far.

Here’s to two years of raising godly seeds for earthly relevance and to many more lives, stories and beautiful chapters ahead!

When most people think of a chess academy logo, they immediately imagine a king, a knight, or a chessboard.

That was the easy route.

The challenge was to create an identity that felt like more than chess.

Brain Chess Academy helps children develop critical thinking, creativity, confidence, focus, and problem-solving through the game of chess. The identity needed to speak to two very different audiences at the same time: children who should find the brand welcoming and exciting, and parents who need to trust the academy with their child's learning.

Instead of relying on literal chess pieces, I explored the idea of the brain as a system of learning. The final mark is built from rounded, chessboard-inspired tiles that come together to form a brain—representing how every lesson, every move, and every challenge contributes to a child's growth over time.

Simple. Strategic. Memorable.

This project reminded me that the strongest logos aren't always the ones that say the most—they're the ones that communicate the right idea with clarity.

February was beautiful. Soft. Purposeful. Full. 🤍

On the 6th, we concluded our after-school program and my heart is still full thinking about it. Watching the children grow in confidence, creativity, and courage reminded me why I do what I do.

They showed up.
They tried.
They improved.
They surprised themselves.

And I couldn’t be more proud. 🧡

Now we’re marching into March, stronger, wiser, bolder.

This design for says it all:
The bold orange arches represent movement. Progress. Momentum.
The little smiley resting at the top? That’s joy, the reward of growth.
The background lines? Life’s journey, not always straight, but always leading somewhere meaningful.

New month.
New strength.
No looking back.

I had the honour of designing the official flyer for The Isalẹ̀ Èkó Chess Dream by , a project rooted in community, history, and hope.
For this piece, I wanted the floating chessboard to represent how chess elevates young minds beyond their limitations.
The Lagos skyline anchors the design in the heritage of Isalẹ̀ Èkó, the very foundation of modern Lagos.
And the handwritten Isalẹ̀ Èkó logotype brings in the human story: personal, expressive, and full of possibility.
This project isn’t just about chess.
It’s about giving overlooked children the space to imagine a future far bigger than their circumstances.
Grateful to have contributed visually to something this meaningful.
