YOU CAN FAIL AT SOMETHING THAT IS YOUR CALLING TOO.
Sometimes we think that because something is truly our calling, it must automatically work out. But that is not always how God works.
Look at Abraham. God called him “the father of many nations” when he didn't even have a child. that was his calling but he failed at that time not even one kid to his name. Imagine being given a promise about nations when your reality seemed to contradict everything God had said.
Years passed. The promise seemed delayed. There were moments of doubt, wrong decisions, waiting, and disappointment. Yet Abraham did not give up on the promise.
Eventually, in his old age, Sarah gave birth to Isaac, the child of promise. Through Abraham came a legacy that extended far beyond what he could see when God first called him.
Delay did not cancel the calling, failure did not cancel the promise, and waiting did not mean God had changed His mind.
Maybe you tried that business and it failed, maybe you started that career and things didn't work out, maybe you launched that project and nobody noticed, maybe you applied again and again and kept getting rejected, maybe you made mistakes along the way.
Don't confuse a failed attempt with a failed calling. You can fail at something and still be called to it, sometimes failure is not the end of the dream; it is part of the process that teaches you how to build it better.
So don't bury the dream simply because your first attempt didn't work. Get up. Learn. Adjust. Start again. Keep working. What God has placed in your heart may take longer than you expected, but don't let one chapter convince you that the whole story is over.
