How To Escape Hackers
With the continued advancement in information technology, the use of computers has become an integral part of our lives. IT security has, however, developed into the greatest concern and worry that we have to deal with on a daily basis.
Every now and then, hackers find their way into taking control of other people's computers. The main pathways through which hackers access other people's computers is through the internet. To our benefit, IT professionals have come up with practical ways that the average computer user can protect his/her machine(s) and identity from malicious attacks.
There are several techniques or strategies for protecting your computer systems but some of the best methods include - but not limited to - the following:
1. Use a reputable Antivirus Software
Most computer users have knowledge about antivirus programs and have, at least one, installed on their computers. These softwares or programs protect your PCs from malicious attacks that may eventually affect their functionality. But the million dollar question is; How effective is your installed antivirus? The rule of thumb here is to get an antivirus that provides protection against Trojans, worms, key loggers and other viruses.
If this is done, your PC speed can be reduced to a frustrating low level, important files can be deleted and your private information can be accessed or outrightly stolen through a remote computer system or device. Even if your computer's performance is at optimal level and there is no virus on it, you are advised to install an antivirus as soon as possible. .......... to be continued.
