You know that email you are waiting for and youbare already thinking, Okay, maybe they are not interested?
Please, check your Spam folder first.
Because honestly, how many of us actually remember to check Spam messages?
I know Iam guilty of this too.
We open Gmail, check Primary, maybe glance through Promotions, deal with the emails in front of us and close the app. Meanwhile, an important email could be sitting quietly in Spam, waiting for us to find it.
I came across several people sharing stories of finding interview invitations and even acceptance emails in their spam folder after it was already too late. And that part really got me.
Imagine waiting for an opportunity, thinking nobody actually replied you. Meanwhile, they have already replied. The message is just sitting somewhere you didn't look.
So please, check your Spam and Junk folders once in a while. Not because every email there is important, but because sometimes, the important one is hiding among the rubbish.
And if you find a genuine email there, mark it as “Not spam” so future messages from that sender can reach your inbox.
It sounds like such a small thing, but missing one important email can mean missing an interview, a potential client, a deadline, or an opportunity you may not get twice.
