TSAN Celebrates Kelvin Yanibo for Exemplary Representation and Service During International Scouting Experience in Switzerland

The Scout Association of Nigeria (TSAN) proudly celebrates Kelvin Yanibo, a Nigerian Scout whose recent international Scouting experience in Switzerland has continued to demonstrate the values of service, leadership, teamwork and positive representation.
During his time in Switzerland, Kelvin actively participated in Scouting activities and contributed meaningfully to the team and camp community. His dedication, reliability and willingness to serve earned him the “Team Bleachers Award – Trolley,” an honour recognizing his readiness to carry responsibilities, support others and keep activities moving.
The appreciation extended beyond the award itself. Messages from fellow Scouts and colleagues reflected the positive relationships Kelvin built during his stay, with several describing him as helpful, energetic, hardworking, confident and dependable. His experience also provided an opportunity for cultural exchange and strengthened the bonds of international Scouting.
The photographs and personal messages shared from the experience provide a touching reflection of the impact of his presence among fellow Scouts and the memories created during his time abroad.
In a message of appreciation, Dr. Zack Ekanola, Chief Commissioner of The Scout Association of Nigeria, commended Kelvin for his conduct and representation of Nigeria, stating

The Chief Commissioner further expressed pride in Kelvin's representation of TSAN on the international stage, noting that his dedication and behaviour had reflected positively on the Association.
TSAN recognizes that international Scouting opportunities are not only about participation but also about building character, developing leadership, promoting cultural understanding and creating ambassadors for Nigerian Scouting. Kelvin's experience is therefore a testament to what young Nigerian Scouts can achieve when given opportunities to learn, serve and connect with the global Scouting community.
As Kelvin returns from Switzerland, The Scout Association of Nigeria warmly welcomes him home and commends him for carrying the Nigerian Scout spirit with dignity, service and commitment.
