Before Discovering Digital Tech in 2020, I Was Already a Tech Girl ๐๐
In 2011, I enrolled at Micromedia Computer Limited at Agbani Road, Enugu state, where I obtained a diploma in Data Processing and Desktop Publishing (DDPDP)
After my training, I worked as a home data entry specialist, helping a couple type their handwritten notes into Microsoft Word. The pay wasnโt much, and the stress was real, I travelled from Achara Layout to Akpapa every day. But my passion for computer operations kept me going. I had no laptop, so any opportunity to utilize one was always cherished, even though it wasn't mine.
Later, I became a cybercafรฉ manager. Beyond selling browsing time, I also typed exam papers for schools around Enugu. One thing about me has never changed: I hate idleness. If there was work to do, I did it.
While in polytechnic, I spent my free time at business centres, typing student projects and getting paid. My life revolved around tech, long before I knew it would define my career.
Today, Iโm known as an Operations/Data Specialist. When I apply for data-related roles, I do so with confidence because this is something Iโve lived with for years. Iโve earned consistent 5-star ratings and repeat clients through diligence and dedication.
Anytime I introduce someone to tech, I always advise them to start with basic computer skills!

Growth is a journey. Every small skill counts. ๐ปโจ
Did you learn computer typing with Mavis Beacon or Typewriter?
