*LAGOS STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING, IGANDO [LASCON] RELEASES ND/HND NURSING ADMISSION SCREENING FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION*

The Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando has officially commenced its 2026/2027 admission screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programmes.

The admission exercise, which will be conducted through a Computer Assisted Screening (CAS), is open to suitably qualified candidates who selected the institution as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and meet the required admission criteria.

This announcement provides another opportunity for aspiring nursing students to secure admission into one of Lagos State’s notable nursing institutions.

Eligibility Requirements for Admission

To qualify for the Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando screening exercise, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. UTME Requirement

Candidates must have:

Selected Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando as their first choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
Scored a minimum of 200 in the 2026 UTME.

Candidates who did not choose the institution as first choice may need to complete a change of institution through JAMB before applying.
2. O’Level Requirements

Applicants must possess five credit passes in the following relevant science subjects:

English Language
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
The institution further stated that:

WAEC and NECO results can be combined but must not exceed two sittings.
NABTEB results must be obtained in one sitting.

3. Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 17 years old before the end of the 2026 admission exercise.

Candidates who do not meet the age requirement may not be considered for admission.
