Why NERD Status for Students is Showing “Partial Compliance”
A student’s NERD status may display “Partial Compliance” when the student has successfully completed his or her required individual obligations under the NERD framework, while the institution is yet to complete the corresponding institutional compliance requirements.
This means that:
* The student has successfully submitted the required academic reports and documents;
* The student’s submission has been processed and digitised within the NERD ecosystem.
* A National Document Number (NDN) may already have been assigned;
* However, the institution is yet to fully complete institutional obligations such as:
* Upload of Senate/Academic Board-approved academic records (principally the Graduating Summary List);
* Automated Processing and assignment of the National Credential Number (NCN) to each credential for that student.
Accordingly, the “Partial Compliance” status indicates that the student has fulfilled the required individual obligations, while the institution’s own compliance process is still expected or ongoing.
WHAT CAN A STUDENT DO?
Students can call their institution's NFOs/NROs/NDOs to ascertain that they have submitted the Graduating Summary List to NERD as required. Please visit
