THE DAY I GAVE A CUSTOMER A PRICE I KNEW HE MIGHT NOT ACCEPT

A customer contacted me for a printing job.

We discussed the design.

We discussed the size.

Everything was going well.

A few days ago, I was watching an airplane prepare for takeoff.

TWO STRANGERS TAUGHT ME TWO DIFFERENT LESSONS TODAY

Today, I bought a watermelon.

As the seller was about to cut it, one of the watermelons accidentally fell to the ground.

Before I could even say,

Leave it.

He had already picked another watermelon and started cutting a fresh piece for me.

He did not argue.

He did not try to convince me that the one on the ground was still okay.

He simply replaced it.

At that moment, he taught me a business lesson.
