How to Raise Indigenous Chickens in a Modern Way for Maximum Profit!"

HOW TO GET QUALITY BREEDS:
There are two main ways to get quality indigenous chickens:

1. Buy eggs or day-old chicks from hatcheries or farms and raise them yourself.

2. Buy young pullets or hens that are close to laying age directly from poultry keepers — not from the market! Market chickens are often unhealthy; traders usually mix them with inferior birds.

CHICKEN FEED:
Indigenous chickens don’t require special feed to lay eggs, but they do need quality nutrition for growth and strength.
In the past, they were fed raw grains. But in modern poultry farming, the grains are crushed to aid digestion. You can mix:

Crushed millet and guinea corn.
Groundnut cake powder (kulikuli).
Crushed maize, wheat, sesame seeds, and rice.
A little salt.

Mix them together as feed.
For extra health benefits, also chop watermelon peels finely and feed them to the chickens.

DISEASE CONTROL:
You can use:

Traditional (herbal) medicine
Modern medicine
Or a combination of both

Whichever method you choose can effectively meet the health needs of your chickens.

Young Man! Listen for a moment…

You have an expensive phone worth over ₦150,000, but when you're told to start a business, you say "I don't have capital"?

Well, here is a business you can start with little capital — Local Chicken Farming (native chickens).

Why native chickens?

They grow quickly.

They reproduce fast.

They don’t cost much to raise.

And you can start earning profits within a few weeks!

What You’ll Need:

1. A cage or a small room

2. 2 or 3 healthy hens (tall, white, or red)

3. 1 rooster (large, white or red)

4. Feed

6. Clean water

How to Start:

After buying your chickens,

Keep them at home to get used to the environment.

Within a few days, they will start laying eggs.

Once the eggs hatch, remove the hen from the hatching area, clean the place, spread dry grass or sawdust, and return her."

Feed and give them water daily.

If you can afford it, buy powdered supplements used for broilers to boost their health and growth.

After just two weeks, they’ll be well-trained,

Then you can remove the hen from the cage and let the chicks be raised on their own — they’ll thrive.

By God’s grace, after a short while, the hen will be ready to lay again.

So you see,

In a short time, you’ll have many chickens. You can keep selling them at a high price.

And these chickens will be impressive — they’ll be used to people, you can feed them from your hand, even call them and they’ll come.

Try this poultry business — there is a lot of blessing in it.

Insha Allah, in the next lesson, I will tell you where to get quality local chickens and the steps to follow before buying.

May Allah help us.

Patience and Determination – The Secret to Youth Success!

Many young people have dreams and ambitions, but they lack the patience to endure challenges or delays. Success doesn't come easily!

Patience means enduring hardships without giving up.
Determination is staying committed and working hard until your goals are achieved.

You might start small — selling local drinks or fruits — and face mockery, exhaustion, or slow progress.
But if you stay patient and determined, one day you'll become a role model.

Remember:

> “Success comes to those who dedicate their hearts to it.”

So, if you’re a young person, stay strong, keep going, and never give up. Your time will come — if you work for it today.
