🚀 From Curiosity to Confidence

A month ago, these amazing kids walked into our Kids Bootcamp with curiosity, questions, and a willingness to explore. Today, they stood before their parents and confidently presented what they had learned, created, and discovered.

Our one-month Summer Kids Bootcamp was designed to give children a strong foundation in a rapidly evolving technological world. Over four weeks, they explored:

🤖 AI Content Creation & Automation
🎨 Graphics Design
💻 Web Design
🛡️ Digital Safety

But this bootcamp was about more than teaching digital skills.

It was about preparing young minds for an AI-driven future, helping them understand what Artificial Intelligence is, how it works, where it can be applied, and how they can begin using technology meaningfully in their everyday lives.

Through hands-on projects, creativity, exploration, and practical learning, we broadened their perspective of the technology space and exposed them to possibilities beyond what they may have previously imagined.

And then came Presentation Day! 🎤

Watching them confidently explain their projects, demonstrate what they had created, and share their experiences with their parents was incredibly rewarding.

What started as curiosity has grown into confidence, creativity, and a broader vision of what is possible.

This is why early exposure to technology matters.

It sparks curiosity.
It builds confidence.
It encourages creativity.
It expands possibilities.
And most importantly, it helps children begin to see themselves not just as technology users, but as creators, innovators, and problem-solvers.

We are incredibly proud of every child who participated in this journey, and we look forward to seeing how they continue to explore, create, and innovate.

The future is changing. We are helping prepare them for it, one curious mind at a time. 🌍

A 2,500-year-old story just went digital.

Africa's oldest known civilization now has a permanent home in the digital world, accessible to anyone, anywhere, forever.

Last month, at the Chief of Mission's Residence, Embassy of the United States of America, Abuja, the Wheyham Foundation officially launched the Nok Digital Heritage Platform, with Greysoft as Technology Partner.

The Nok Terracotta civilization dates back to 2,500 BC, predating many of the world's most celebrated ancient cultures. Yet it remains one of the most under-researched, under-protected, and under-celebrated heritages on the continent.

UNESCO estimates that 40% of the world's cultural heritage artifacts are at risk of destruction through conflict, poor documentation, and neglect. Meanwhile, younger generations are growing increasingly disconnected from their cultural roots in the age of social media, AI, and emerging technologies.

The Wheyham platform was built to change that. Permanently.

What was built:

🖼️ Augmented Reality experiences that bring history to life
🎮 Interactive 3D environments for learning and exploration
🤲 Real-time gesture-based interaction with digital artifacts
🪙 Blockchain-powered preservation and tokenization
📚 A growing research library for scholars and enthusiasts
🎬 Digital storytelling, documentaries, and marketplace opportunities

The room said everything.

In attendance were the interim U.S. Chief of Mission to Nigeria, Keith Heffern; the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa; the Honourable Minister of Defence, Christopher Gwabin Musa; the Chairman of the Kaduna Internal Revenue Service and Deputy Governor Nominee, Jerry Adams; the Chairperson of Jaba Local Government, Larai Sylvia Ishaku; traditional rulers, captains of industry, leaders of government MDAs, researchers, academia, and the press. The calibre of that room reflects the significance of what was launched.

On the panel, sitting alongside Wheyham Foundation founder Yahaya Maikori, the Greysoft team spoke honestly about what this platform represents: a genuine U.S.-Nigeria technology partnership that goes beyond ceremony. The conversation touched on the role American technology played in making this possible, the urgency of local communities taking ownership and protecting this heritage, and the non-negotiable need for this to be an ongoing, living partnership, not a one-off event.

For Greysoft, this is what technology is for. An enabler of sectors, whether culture, agriculture, finance, education, or the creative economy. The team sat with the Wheyham Foundation, co-owned their vision, and then built the infrastructure to take it forward. That's the kind of work that gets us out of bed in the morning.
