NIPR Kwara State Chapter Holds Meeting and Get-Together Dinner, Highlights Professionalism and Synergy
The Kwara State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) on Tuesday, 9th December 2025, held its annual Meeting and Get-Together Dinner, bringing together communication professionals, practitioners, and stakeholders for an evening of engagement, reflection, and collaboration.
The event, which took place at Reputation House, National Library Complex, Flower Garden Area, Offa Road, Ilorin, centered on the theme โProfessionalism & Synergy.โ The theme underscored the importance of ethical practice, shared responsibility, and strengthened partnerships within the public relations ecosystem.
Delivering the keynote address, Alhaji Saadu Salau, Fnipr, Senior Advisor and Counselor to the Kwara State Governor, emphasized the strategic role of public relations in shaping public perception, driving development narratives, and fostering trust between institutions and the public. He encouraged practitioners to uphold the highest professional standards while leveraging collective expertise to advance the practice in the state and across Nigeria.
Members of the chapter used the gathering as an opportunity to review activities for the year, discuss future plans, and explore avenues for greater synergy among practitioners. The convivial atmosphere of the dinner further strengthened bonds and provided a platform for informal networking.
The event commenced at 4:00 PM prompt and recorded an impressive turnout of professionals committed to elevating the standards of public relations practice in Kwara State.
