It's been over 15 years since a 19-year-old Mark Zuckerberg and four of his roommates unleashed their creation, TheFacebook.com, on humanity. Since then, Facebook has transformed from a website for poking your college crush to one of the most powerful engines of communication in the world. Zuckerberg's creation has, for better and for worse, forever changed how people connect, how businesses make money, how politicians seize power, and how information flows across communities and cultures.

Like a Galaxy S22 camera feature? A bunch are coming to older Samsung phones.
If you don't want to fork out cash for a new Galaxy S22, you can still enjoy Galaxy S22 features.

A handful of Samsung camera features originally launched on the Galaxy S22 series are coming to older phones.
Phones as old as the Galaxy S10 series will see at least some of these features.
The update will start this month and continue through June for some older models.
When a new Galaxy S smartphone lands, it usually comes with a few exclusive features. However, only some of those features are dependent on the advanced hardware inside the device, which means older phones could also get them.

With that in mind, some Samsung camera features from the latest Galaxy S22 series are on their way to older Samsung phones (h/t PhoneArena). That includes phones as far back as the Galaxy S10 series, although that will only be a select few features.

The updates will start to roll out this month. However, some older models will see the new Samsung camera features land in June. Here’s what you can expect:

Samsung camera features: Improved night portraits

With a Galaxy S22 phone, you can get great night photography results using Portrait Mode through the telephoto lens. This feature will make its way to the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Auto-framing

Getting a shot with all your friends in it can be a bit tricky, which is where auto-framing comes in. It zooms in and out and crops things automatically to get everyone in the frame in a good spot. This is coming to the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and all Galaxy Z Flip models.

Additionally, Samsung will eventually bring auto-framing to video calls, too. That will roll out to the Galaxy S21 and S20 families along with their respective FE variants. It will also come to the Galaxy Note 20 series, all Galaxy Z Flip models, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Fold 3, the Galaxy S10 series, and the Galaxy Note 10 series. The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite models are also included here.

Video call effects

Video calls are a huge part of daily life nowadays, and Samsung has camera features that can make your calls more fun or simply better in quality. On the Galaxy S22 series, you can use custom backgrounds and custom mic control settings in Google Meet, Google Duo, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom, Messenger, and more.

These features are coming to a ton of phones, including the Galaxy S21 series (including FE), the Galaxy S20 series (including FE), the Galaxy Note 20 series, all Galaxy Z Flip models, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Galaxy S10 series (including Lite), and the Galaxy Note 10 series (including Lite).

Social network camera enhancements

Some social media apps have cameras built-in, and these often are not as good as the phone’s default camera app. Samsung helps out here by applying some of its optimizations and effects to specific social camera systems, including Snapchat and Instagram.

You’ll find this on the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 only.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 improvements

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get support for Samsung’s Expert RAW app. This app gives users complete control over all the lenses on the phone and doesn’t apply Samsung’s effects and optimizations. Currently, this is only available on the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but Samsung’s foldable flagship from last year will get it soon.

Yes—Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter does mean all your personal data is at the whims of the world’s richest man. Musk will soon be able to access all Twitter user data—and Twitter's DMs are notably not end-to-end encrypted, meaning that they can be accessed by whoever controls the platform. Musk has indicated that transparency will be a priority for him at Twitter, but it remains unknown which areas he wants to focus on and what his stance will be on issues like government requests for user data.

“It is scary. Twitter has been relatively good with the privacy stuff, and this takeover could be a serious issue for people who use the platform and have been shielded by the company, ” says Johns Hopkins cryptographer Matthew Green.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽.⁣

So this morning, I decided to send out bulk SMS to a database. ⁣

And while researching online, I found a way you can actually extract contacts from a WhatsApp group and do a whole lot with that data.⁣

The internet is truly rich indeed.⁣

And you know the beautiful thing? It even sorts them in a nice way by adding the country code for you, you can set out how you need it extracted. Both those you've saved and the unsaved⁣

𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲.⁣

You need a laptop to access WhatsApp Web. To perform the process, do this⁣

1. Download this extension from Google Chrome extensions Web store - WA - Download Group Phone Numbers. ⁣

2. Open up WhatsApp web on your PC and connect your phone to the web version of WhatsApp on Chrome Browser.⁣

Link: web.whatsapp.com

3. Open the group you want to download/export it's contacts.⁣

4. Tap on the extensions button on Chrome, select the extension you just downloaded in step 1 above.⁣

5. When you click on the extension, it'll show a prompt that says - Download info. Click on it⁣

6. Voila!! All contacts are automatically downloaded from the WhatsApp group.⁣

You can just open it in excel to extract the WhatsApp group contacts.⁣

Simple as ABC. I hope this has been helpful.⁣

Share this post so others can read and gain value too.⁣

There's another way to do it too, but it's somewhat technical. This is the easiest⁣

𝗧𝗶𝗽: Don't export contacts to Spam. You may get your line blacklisted. Only send SMS to persons when you've built some relationship if you truly wish it to convert.⁣

Multi-billion dollar American company, Microsoft, will today open its first African Development Center in Nigeria where geniuses will provide software engineering solutions to the world and Africa, in a $100m investment, alongside Kenya.

The hub in Lagos will be the first in Africa. If you are familiar with Lagos Island, that is the iconic new building on Kingsway Road, Ikoyi, owned by Mrs Folorunsho Alakija and not far from the building housing Google Nigeria office.

Microsoft want to help create an African silicon valley in Nigeria. Our youths should spend less time on sport bet apps and scam apps and take advantage of this opportunity.
