THE PUNISHMENT THAT CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER 2.
That day taught me something I have carried with me for many years. When you accept responsibility, you must take the responsibility seriously.
This lesson has become even more important to me since I started working online.I see many people who want to make money online.
Become digital marketers.
Sell products.
Become content creators.
Start affiliate marketing.
Build an online business.
Great, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting these things.Sometimes, we want the result without accepting the responsibility that comes with it.
We want customers, but we don't want to learn how to serve them.
We want followers, but we don't want to consistently create useful content.
We want sales, but we don't want to understand the people we are selling to.
We want to run Facebook ads, but we don't want to learn how advertising actually works.
If you start an online business today, don't just say:"I want to make money online." Ask yourself."What responsibility am I ready to accept?"
Are you ready to learn?
Are you ready to make mistakes?
Are you ready to create content even when nobody likes it?
Are you ready to hear "No" from potential customers?
Are you ready to improve when something doesn't work?
Are you ready to study your market?
Are you ready to serve your customers properly?
Are you ready to remain consistent when the excitement disappears?
Business is not always about motivation.
Sometimes, you simply have to do the work.
You don't have to be perfect.
But you should take your work seriously.
Start taking what you are doing seriously.
Don't be like the young me who thought assigning students to clear land was enough.
Check the work.
Follow up.
Make corrections.
Learn from your mistakes.
And most importantly, understand that being given an opportunity is not the same thing as being prepared for the responsibility that comes with it.
Now let me ask you.
What is one punishment or experience from your childhood that taught you a lesson you still remember today?
I want to hear your story in the comments.
You never know...
That embarrassing experience you have been hiding may actually contain a lesson that somebody else needs to hear.

THE DAY NEPA TOOK LIGHT DURING MY ONLINE CLASS πŸ˜‚

That day taught me one thing; If you want to work online in Nigeria, you better have a backup plan. πŸ˜‚
I was in the middle of an online class, teaching my students how to make money online with digital marketing.
Everything was going well.
My phone was fully charged.
My data was working. My students were asking questions.I was feeling like a serious online coach.
Then suddenly...

POOOF!
Light went off.I looked at my phone.Network disappeared.
I checked the Wi-Fi,Gone.The fan, stopped.I checked outside to see if the whole street was affected.
Of course, everywhere was dark. At that point, I just laughed because what else could I do?
My students were already waiting for me to continue the class. One of them even sent:
"Sir, are you still there?"
I replied:
"I'm here. NEPA just joined the class." πŸ˜‚
Everybody started laughing.
But inside me, I was calculating. My phone battery was 38%.My power bank was almost dead. And the class still had a long way to go.I quickly connected my phone to the power bank and continued teaching. That day, I realised something important.Doing business online is not just about knowing how to use Facebook create content or run adverts. You also need to be prepared for the things you cannot control.Network can disappear.Light can go.
Phone can spoil. And sometimes, even your own motivation can disappear.
But if you really want to build something online, you have to learn how to keep going.
Today, whenever I'm teaching people digital marketing, I tell them:
Don't wait until everything is perfect before you start.
Start with what you have.
Learn.
Improve.
Find solutions to your problems.
And keep moving.Thats way you can go far.
By the way, have you ever been doing something important online when NEPA suddenly decided to show you who is in charge? πŸ˜‚.You are welcome on board.

THE FIRST MONEY I MADE ONLINE ALMOST MADE ME CRY... AND MY FRIENDS COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING! πŸ˜‚
If someone had told me years ago that I would one day make money from my phone while sitting in my living room, I would probably have laughed and asked them what movie they were watching.
Back then, I believed money only came from wearing a tie every morning, boarding a crowded bus, and sitting in an office until evening.

The internet?
To me, it was where people make come, watched funny videos, and wished each other "Happy Birthday."
I never imagined it could pay my bills.

Everything changed when I started learning digital marketing.
I was excited.

In fact, "excited" is an understatement.
I was already calculating how I would become the next millionaire before making even one naira.
Even before I earned a single naira, I was already figuring out how to become the next millionaire.
I was really confident when I made my first fanpage.
I created what I thought was Nigeria's most exquisite logo.
Because I wanted to appear like a responsible businessman, I even spent nearly two hours selecting the ideal profile image.
After that, I published my first post.
I took a seat.
I folded my legs.
I picked up my phone.
I wrote what I believed was the most beautiful sale page.
I sat down in front of my old model smartphone.Gbam,! it went online Straight into the Facebook portal. To my surprise, it garnered a lot of attention. People began to interact, share, and relate to my content. My network grew from there, the first client sent N25 to my bank account on the first day. On second day I earned another 50k. Eventually over one month I made my first one million naira.
The story was a real testimony and turn around for me as a digital marketer. if you want to find out what I did.Like and share this post.
