***How to disable annoying auto-starting programmes on your windows computer.***
* Click on Start, Type "System Configuration",
* Click on the result item that bears the name you typed,
* On the "System Configuration" window that pops up,
* Click on "Startup" tab,
* Unselect any item you do not wish to auto-start on boot (e.g. Corel Corporation Registration),
* Then click on "Apply", click on "Ok".
* You will be required to reboot the system.
* After the reboot, you will see the auto-starting programmes have been disabled.
***Please do not deselect anything you are not sure of as you can cause serious problems to your system from here.

How to retrieve hidden files from a drive attacked by virus.
* Click on Start or Windows icon
* Click on Computer
* Insert the Driver (e.g. Flash Driver)
* Wait for System to detect and prepare the Drive
* Right Click on the drive then select Open
* When the window opens and is active Press Act button on the keyboard
* A menu will appear bellow the navigation bar
* On this menu bar Click Tools then select Folder options
* A new Dialog window will appear
* Click on view tab
* Under advanced settings
* Enable the "show hidden files, folders and drives" Radio button
* scroll down and Deselect the option button labelled as "hide protected operating System files"
* Click apply and then click OK
* You should see some hidden files in the explorer window by now
To see a full list of everything in the flash
* locate the search box directly below the folder Close button
* Type a . (Dot) and wait for the window to search and display all files.

Programming is simply the act of developing softwares or set of instructions for use by the computer in solving different tasks.

Software platform that you use for programming is called PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, or SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT (SDK) e.g. Java or C.
The software you use in typing and editing the codes, is called INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT (IDE) e.g. Notepad.

Answer to the previous question is to RIGHT CLICK on the TASK BAR, select TASK MANAGER option, when the tasks dialog shows up, select the concerned window icon and CLICK on END TASK button.

If you have more ways, we will appreciate you posting them here.

How else can you close a window apart from the following methods;
>Clicking the close button
>alt F4
>right clicking the icon on start bar and selecting close
:)
