One thing we've learned is this:

Great branding isn't built by designers alone.

It's built when the right client meets the right creative process.

The projects we're most proud of all had one thing in common. The clients trusted the strategy, gave thoughtful feedback, respected the process, and understood that building a memorable brand takes time.

So today, we're hiring.

Not designers.

Clients.

A founder once told me "I just need a logo."

After our discovery call, it became clear they didn't have a logo problem.

They had a clarity problem.

They knew what they were selling, but not what made them different. They knew who they wanted to reach, but not how to connect with them. And without that foundation, every design decision would have been guesswork.

That's why I don't start with colours or logos.

I start with questions. Research. Strategy.

Then we build an identity where every element has a reason to exist.

3,000 followers on LinkedIn.

I want to be honest with you instead of just posting a celebration graphic.

In November 2025, I hit 2k.
That was 7 months ago.

7 months. To gain 1,000 followers.

My goal was 10k last year 😅
I'm just now crossing 3k.

My impressions have been low.
My growth has felt slow.
Some weeks, I genuinely wondered if anyone was seeing this.

But I've decided something:

I'm not waiting for 10k to celebrate.
I'm celebrating right here. Right now. At 3k. 🙌

Because behind every quiet month, someone stayed.
Someone double-tapped a post with zero reach.
Someone commented when I needed it most.
Someone shared my page when I felt invisible.

So this post isn't about the number.
It's about YOU. 💛

To everyone who stayed through the slow growth, thank you.
To everyone who showed up when the algorithm didn't, thank you.
To everyone who believed in this before the numbers caught up, thank you.

I'm not where I planned to be.
But I'm exactly where I'm meant to be, with people who actually care.

Here's to the next 1,000.

Every brand you see started long before the logo.

Before the colours.
Before the typography.
Before the packaging.

It starts with asking the right questions, understanding the market, researching the audience, defining the strategy, and then designing an identity that solves a real problem.

Here's a look behind the scenes of the creative process behind Drimo, from discovery to delivery.

Drimo started with one simple question:

How do you create a snack brand that children love and parents trust?

Most brands in the category lean heavily toward one audience.

They either speak to children through loud visuals or to parents through product claims.

Very few successfully balance both.

That challenge became the foundation of this project.

Every creative decision was built around one idea:

Made for Happy Moments.

From the verbal identity to the visual identity, every element was intentionally designed to communicate joy, trust, and togetherness.

One of my favourite creative decisions was simplifying the identity.

Instead of relying on mascots or playful illustrations, we transformed the letter "M" into the heart of the brand.

It represents a parent and child.
It can also represent two children sharing a joyful moment.

When separated, it transforms into a smiling face, creating a distinctive brand asset that extends beyond the logo into the entire identity system.

Nothing was added because it looked good.
Everything was added because it strengthened the story.

That's the part of branding I enjoy the most.

Taking an idea, stripping away the unnecessary, and building a system where every decision has a reason to exist.

Excited to share a brand identity project I've been working on.

Drimo, a children's snack brand built around a simple but powerful idea:

the best moments in childhood aren't the big ones. They're the small ones.

A lunchbox surprise. A school break with friends. A family movie night.

Drimo was created to live inside those moments,

and the creative challenge was building a brand that speaks to two very different audiences at once:

children who want fun, and parents who want trust.

The visual identity leans into that duality. A bold blue anchors the brand in reliability and parent confidence,

while a bright yellow brings the energy and joy that kids connect with.

The custom wordmark, built around a signature 'M' doubles as a smiling face and a quiet nod to togetherness.

Every creative decision came back to the same question: does this feel both exciting and dependable?

That balance is what Drimo is all about.

When I was younger, I never understood why older people were so attached to old houses.

The cracked walls.
The carved doors.
The stories attached to places.

To me, they were just buildings.
Now I think I understand.

Because what they were protecting wasn't the structure.

It was the memory.
The identity.
The proof that they existed.

That thought shaped KÉREMA.

A luxury hospitality brand inspired by the richness of African heritage and the idea that culture should be experienced, not archived.

Before we touched visuals, we built the identity.

We defined what the brand believed.
How it spoke.
How it welcomed people.

What it wanted people to remember long after they left.

Only then did the visual identity begin to take shape.

The logo emerged from architecture.
The colors emerged from materials.
The imagery emerged from the world we imagined.

Every design decision became a reflection of something deeper.

Because the strongest brands don't start with aesthetics.
They start with meaning.

And if there's one thing this project reminded me, it's that many brands don't have a design problem.

They have an identity problem.

Once you know who you are, expressing it becomes a lot easier.
