📖 Text: 1 John 1:6-7
📌 MEMORY VERSE: 1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
CHURCH FELLOWSHIP
Every fellowship that is spiritual first appear in the Spirit realm. “Do not the truth” in the text of today indicates that fellowship is identified by what they do. It is what they do that will reveal where it takes roots from. “If we walk in the light…” Walk here is “Acting.”
Something takes place, something significant happen when it is the fellowship with Christ.
When you are joined to a fellowship, do not allow the devil to stop you. The text further says “the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins.” Once you are out, you are isolated. Isolation opens the door for your enemy to get at you.
Once you are joined to a fellowship, it is not that you are perfect, but there is a fountain of the blood of Jesus that flows from where you are joined with, washing you from all your errors, that is why it is difficult for your enemy to drag you to a contrary coven or fraternity. There are other acceptable behaviours that make your attendance of godly fellowship meaningful.
Every man belongs to one fellowship or the other, but the fellowship of Christ ensures that, each time you are there, the fountain will cleanse/wash you from all errors. You are continually identified to belong to Christ, His blood marks you out for God only..
Which fellowship do you attend and how established are you in it?
PRAYER POINT: Every power assigned to take me out of the fellowship with God, die in Jesus name. Power to remain immovable and steadfast in Christ fellowship, I receive now in Jesus name.
ACTIVITY: As you are in a new month, make a commitment to stay permanently where God has put you.
