Artmosphere 2017, the Phoenix Edition

Artmosphere Lagos, is a leading arts, culture and conversation idea of Fairchild Media, it aims to be a veritable think- thank for cultural ideas and to create a relaxed artistic atmosphere for engagement.

The event has hosted various artists, intellectuals and writers in its 6-year of creating value in the culture space in Nigeria. It has played host creative minds like Tanure Ojaide, Ros Orlando Martin, Niyi Osundare, Akinlabi Peter, Niran Okewole, Tade Ipadeola, Atilola Morounfolu, Ayodele Olofintuade, Victor Ehikhamenor, Dami Ajayi, Paul Liam, Emmanuel Iduma, Jumoke Verissimo, Efe Paul Azino, Beautiful Nubia, Chuma Nwokolo, Remi Raji, Seun Odukoya, Rotimi Babatunde, Micheal Afenfia, Ife Adeniyi, Ifesinachi Okpagu, Hyginus Ekwuazi, amongst others, where they engaged the audience about their craft, their creative process and their published works.

The event moved most of its artistic interests from Ibadan in October 2016 to Lagos where it hosted 3 Poets in October last year, and has since begun developing an avant-garde and cosmopolitan model for art events in Africa. With new partners like Rouge Events, 411 Lounge, Barons Café, Khalam Collective, NytechInnovations, Ijesaboi inc, Ceomania Alasooke, the event is open for art, culture parleys, music and conversations.

The Phoenix Edition is geared towards leisure, listening to creative performances in cosmopolitan spaces outside the courtyards of the converted.

411 Lounge, an exquisite bar and club in the heart of Lagos provides the exact space for artistic engagements that do not escape the public. A space to connect, network and engage.

At the Phoenix edition we will be host to a leading Nigerian Spoken Word artist, RezthaPoet.
