🌅 THE IMPORTANCE OF ISHRĀQ (SUNRISE) PRAYER 🌅
Ishrāq Prayer is a voluntary prayer performed shortly after sunrise, approximately 15–20 minutes after the sun has risen, when the sun has moved above the horizon.
📖 Virtue of Ishrāq Prayer
The Prophet ﷺ said:
🖋 Transliteration:
Man ṣallal-fajra fī jamā‘ah, thumma qa‘ada yadhkurullāha ḥattā taṭlu‘ash-shams, thumma ṣallā rak‘atayn, kānat lahu ka-ajri ḥajjah wa ‘umrah tāmmah, tāmmah, tāmmah.
📖 Meaning:
"Whoever performs Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering Allah until the sun rises, then prays two rak‘ahs, will have a reward like that of a complete Hajj and ‘Umrah, complete, complete, complete."
(At-Tirmidhi)
