"He Said, 'Nothing Happened to My Laptop'… Then I Opened It! 😳💻🌊"
A customer walked into Sadov Technology with a laptop and confidently said, "I was using it, then it just refused to come on."
Before I even opened it, his biggest concern was, "How much will the repair cost?" So I gave him an estimate and started the inspection.
The moment I removed the motherboard, I couldn't help but shout, "Jesus!" 😅
I looked at him and asked, "Did this laptop fall into a flood, or was it in a shipwreck like Apostle Paul?"
He smiled and replied, "Ermm... just a little water splashed on it."
I turned the motherboard around and said, "This isn't a splash... this laptop was practically baptized!" 😂
The corrosion was everywhere. It was far beyond a normal liquid-damage repair. After a thorough inspection, we honestly explained that repairing the motherboard wouldn't be reliable. The only lasting solution was to replace the entire motherboard.

"I Asked One Question… Then I Found My Own Signature on the Motherboard! 😂💻"

A customer brought us a laptop that another technician in his town couldn't fix. Unknown to the customer, that technician had actually brought the same laptop to Sadov Technology earlier because he had heard about our expertise in laptop motherboard repair. We tried everything possible at the time, but the motherboard needed a complete replacement, so the laptop was returned.
Some time later, the owner came directly to our office still searching for a solution. As I opened the laptop, I asked, "Has this motherboard ever been worked on before?"
He confidently replied, "No."
Then I looked closer... and there it was—my own signature on the motherboard! 😂
I smiled and said, "I'm sure I've worked on this laptop before."
After a brief conversation, he realized the first technician had indeed brought it to us without mentioning it.
This time, we explained that replacing the motherboard was the only reliable long-term solution. He agreed, we completed the replacement, tested everything thoroughly, and the laptop came back to life.
