POLICE ACADEMY COMMENCES APPLICATION INTO 10TH REGULAR COURSE CADET DEGREE PROGRAMME

• Interested and Qualified Candidates to Register on https://www.polac.edu.ng, as IGP Warns Impostors, Fraudsters

The Nigeria Police Force wishes to invite interested and qualified candidates of Nigerian extract to register online for admission into the 10th Regular Course Cadet Degree Programme. The online registration process will run for a period of six (6) weeks (from 24th July to 3rd September, 2023) availing both male and female Nigerians of good character the opportunity of serving the fatherland.

The requirements for admission into the Academy include that the applicants must:
i. be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN), JAMB result (2023 only) with not less than 180 marks, and must have selected Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as first choice in the JAMB form.
ii. possess a minimum of 6 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit passes in English and Mathematics.
iii. be aged between 17-21 years by 31st October, 2023.
iv. be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for females.
v. have not less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for males only)
vi. not be married or pregnant at the time of admission.
vii. have a valid email address and phone number.
viii. SSCE (WAEC/NECO) Statements of Results or certificates before 2019 will not be accepted.

The method of application is virtual. All interested applicants who meet the criteria above are advised to visit the Academy’s website: https://www.polac.edu.ng, generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code which would be used to make payment of a non-refundable fee of Three Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only through any commercial bank branch in Nigeria. Successful payment will open up a form that applicants are required to fill out and upload scanned copies of their SSCE results, birth, and state of origin certificate.

Thereafter, applicants are required to print out completed online forms and guarantor forms to be filled and submitted at the Nigeria Police Academy during the physical screening. Automated physical screening exercise will hold at the Academy at a date which will be communicated in due course. Successful candidates will participate in a Computer Based Test (CBT), a subsequent Automated Medical Screening Exercise, and an Automated Interview/Selection Exercise for Final Selection of candidates who will undergo a 5-year academic and police training leading to a Bachelors Degree and commissioning into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police II.

The Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, assures that the process will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability. He advises the applicants to be wary of online imposters, scammers, and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the application process to dupe innocent applicants. The IGP however warns that anyone found wanting in this regard will be arrested and prosecuted.

Application Guidelines for DSSC Enlistment
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
Online Registration starts on 26 July 2021 and closes on 30 August2021.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Nationality: Applicant must be of Nigerian origin.
2. Age: Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 years by 30 September 2022 (25 - 40 years for Medical Consultants). Please note the following:
a. Candidates born before 29 September 1992 are not eligible, while candidates born before 29 September 1982are not eligible for medical consultants. For Chaplains/Imams, candidates born before 29 September 1990 are ineligible.
b. The Exercise is not for serving personnel desiring Branch Commission. Therefore, personnel above 30 years of age (born before 29 September 1992)need not apply.

3. Marital Status: All applicants must be single.
4. Height: Minimum height is1.66 metres or 5.4ft for males and 1.63metres or 5.3ft for females.
5. Medical Fitness: All applicants must be medically fit and meet the Nigerian Air Force medical and employment standards.
6. Local Government Area Attestation Forms:Applicants' Local Government Area Attestation Form must be signed by a military officer from the same State as the applicants not below the rank of Wing Commander in the Nigerian Air Force or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Navy or a Police Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner and above, or Local Government Area Chairmen/Secretaries and Magistrates from the Local Government Area of the applicants. The Local Government Area Attestation Form must be accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signees’ Drivers Licence or National ID Card or International Passport. The signee is also to authenticate behind the applicants’ passport photograph.
7. Presentation of Original Credentials: Successful applicants will be required tosubmit their original credentials for scrutiny at the Selection Board Interview Exercise. The credentials include the following:
a. Two recent passport size photographs to be stamped and countersigned by the officer of appropriate rank as specified in Paragraph 6.
b. Original and Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
c. Original and Photocopy of Educational Certificates.
d. Original and Photocopy of Indigeneship Certificate from applicant’s Local Government/State of Origin.
e. Original and Photocopy of Attestation of Good Character signed by Officer of appropriate rank as specified in Paragraph 6.

8. Any applicant suspected to have impersonated or submitted false document(s) shall be disqualified from the Selection Exercise. Also, any false declaration detected later may lead to withdrawal from training. Such applicants will be handed over to the Nigerian Police for prosecution. The Nigerian Air Force will not entertain any enquiries in respect of applicants whose applications have been rejected. Interested applicants are to note that the online registration is FREE OF CHARGE. Applicants are required to fill in valid email addresses and telephone numbers in the appropriate space provided in the Application Form.

9. Attestation Forms: On completion of the application forms, applicants must print out the underlisted documents:

a. Acknowledgement Slip.
b. Attestation of Parent/Guardians Form.
c. Local Government Area Attestation Form.

10. Successful applicants would be invited for Selection Board Interview Exercise through the portal.

11. Interested applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for holders of the first degree and Upper Credit for HND holders. In addition, applicants must possess credit in English Language and Mathematics and 3 additional credits in subjects related to degree course of study. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
12. Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption from NYSC at the time of applying for DSSC.
13. Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria where applicable.

REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES FOR FRSC
2021/2022 RECRUITMENT APPLICATION:

There are 4 different categories in the FRSC recruitment 2021. You will have to choose one below and apply.

There are different requirements for all of them. Now, check the available categories below

CATEGORY A – RMA Cadre

Road Marshal Assistant I.

Applicants must be Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW).

2. Road Marshal Assistant III.

Applicants must possess a minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (GCE / WAEC / NECO / NABTEB), which must include English Language and Mathematics.

3. Artisans and Tradesmen.

Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category. Those applying for the posts of Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers, etc must possess the following: A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (GCE / WAEC / NECO, NABTEB).
Trade Test and or other professional Certificates. Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of valid Driver’s Licence

CATEGORY B – MI Cadre:

Marshal Inspector I.

Candidates must possess the following:

Double qualification RN & RM, Accident & Emergency Nurses, Pediatric Nurses, Anesthetic Nurses, Orthopedic Nurses, Radiographic Nurses from recognized institutions.

Marshal Inspector II.

Candidates must possess the following:

Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE).
Registered Nurse / Midwife (RN/RM).

Marshal Inspector III.

Candidates must possess the following:

National Diploma (ND) / Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (CHEW).

CATEGORY C – Officer Cadre:

Officer Cadre.

Candidates must possess the following:

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in any of the following disciplines; Law, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Laboratory Science, Psychology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance/Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, Physical and Health Education, Accounting, Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Mass Communication, Social Sciences and Humanities. CATEGORY D – Officer(MBBS) Cadre:

Candidates must possess the following: Must possess a First Degree / HND from a recognized Institution of learning and NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate.

Candidates who wish to apply for the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC 2021 Recruitment Exercise must meet the following conditions:

Computer literacy and possession of a valid National Driver’s Licence shall be an added advantage for all cadres. Any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered and accepted at the time of recruitment cannot be presented subsequently for career progression in the Corps. Applicants are Nigerians by birth. Applicants must be medically fit and must produce a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital. Applicants must not be less than 18 years or more than 30 years of age. However, 35 years will be considered for Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers.

All applicants must be single. Applicants height must not be less than 1.7 metres for male and 1.64 metres for females.
Medical and Allied professionals must possess current practising licences while Lawyers must have been called to Bar.
Male applicants must have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87metres. Applicants are free from any form of financial embarrassment, be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence. Applicants must not have tattoos on any part of their body.

Other Conditions:

Prospective candidates who are pregnant need not apply.

Applicants with any of the following disabilities need not apply:

Gross malformation of teeth malocclusion, overjet, overbite etc). Provide correct information for all fields, upload your passport photograph and CV then click the submit button. An email would be sent to you confirming the success of your submission.
