[2/5, 22:43] Don Corleone: 📌 *QUESTION AND ANSWERS ON NERD*

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the NERD registration lately. To make things easier, I’ve put together the most common ones so you don’t have to keep asking them again.

👉 *Will NERD be required for Batch A Stream 2?*

There is no official update yet. But from what NERD said back in December, any batch mobilising after the January batch will be required to present the NERD clearance slip. Now that accredited agents are active, enforcement looks likely. This is Local Man’s informed opinion based on the current situation.

👉 *I registered for NYSC last year. Does NERD still apply to me?*

Yes. You will need the NERD clearance slip. Even if you registered in 1936, as long as you haven’t served yet, this requirement applies to you.

👉 *I graduated a while ago and no longer have a copy of my project. What can I do?*

NERD requires a soft copy of your project for enrolment. If you don’t have yours, it’s your responsibility to resolve it. You may need to create a new one or find another way to meet the requirement.

👉 *I previously registered for NERD on my own. Now that the process is handled by accredited agents, do I need to register again?*

No. You don’t need to register again. Just log into your NERD dashboard, make the required payment, and download your NERD clearance slip.

👉 *I am a foreign graduate. Am I expected to be NERD compliant?*

Yes. All graduates, including foreign graduates, must obtain the NERD clearance slip. However, accredited agents cannot process foreign graduates. You will need to contact NERD directly for guidance on completing your registration.

👉 *I do not have my statement of result or certificate. Can I register for NERD?*

No. NERD requires either your certificate, statement of result, or an attestation letter from your school. Without any of these, you are not yet eligible to register.

👉 *I’ve completed the first stage of NERD but haven’t uploaded my project. Must I use an agent to finish it?*

No. Once you’ve completed the first stage, you can upload your project yourself. The key update is that only accredited agents can access the first stage, but since you’ve already done that, you don’t need one.

👉 *I've enrolled before but made a mistake. Can I enroll again?*

No. Your enrollment is tied to your National Identification Number (NIN). Unless you have a different NIN, the system will recognize your previous enrollment and will not allow you to register again.

_React 👍 and forward to other PCMs if you found this helpful._

Smart schools have not been completed across the wards in the state but Enugu state governor has rushed to budget 30billion naira to feed the students who will be enrolled in the smart schools.
To be honest, Enugu state has never had this type of government!
30billion government that feeds unseen students in uncompleted Smart schools.

Ije uwa still remains Enugu people's anthem!
