🛑 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀!
Your screen may be damaging your eyes gradually by straining them.
Digital Eye Strain (DES) is more common today than ever because virtually everybody uses a screen in their daily lives.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞:
Dry eyes
Irritation
Blurred vision
Painful throbbing headaches around the eye region
Neck and Shoulder pain (in extreme cases)
𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗘𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻:
1, Don’t Forget To Blink!
Every time we blink, we keep our eyes moist and refocus our eyes. Do it often to avoid strain and dryness.
2. Use The 20/20/20 Rule
If you look at the screen for 20 minutes, you should look at something at least 20 feet away from you for 20 seconds. The longer you look away from your screen, though, the better.
3, Reduce Screen Brightness
Lower your screen brightness whenever possible, or turn on automatic brightness settings to let your device adjust depending on your environment.
4, Keep A Sensible Distance
You should be able to see everything on your laptop or phone screen from a few inches away. Consider zooming in on your screen or increasing text size if you keep bringing the device closer too often.
Also, consider High-Resolution Screens. When you can’t see the pixels, your eyes don’t work as hard to make sense of the images in front of you.
5, Turn on Night Mode
Modern laptops and phones offer night mode features that make it easy to automatically reduce blue light and eye strain at night. Turn the feature on, and your phone will automatically adjust screen settings depending on the time of day.
6, Have Regular Eye Exams
Regular eye exams help to keep your eye health in check. It also provides you with an excellent opportunity to talk to an expert about your habits and eye health.
If you’re a glasses wearer, make sure your lenses have an anti-reflective coating.
Nonglass wearers can consider anti-blue light glasses if they work for long hours on their laptops every day.
P. S: We just received 40 laptops from Texas USA. They're selling between 60,000 - 80,000 naira only.
