42/153. Consistency changed the way I create.

Whenever I give myself a challenge, I stop overthinking and start producing.

But this challenge is bigger than me posting every day.

I’m using it to prove something I strongly believe:

You can start, improve, create quality work, and get paid as a designer with the smartphone in your hand.

And I don’t want to be the only one proving it.

Day 41/153. I’m Mr TaLent; The Talented Designer, a brand designer and content creator showing what’s possible when you start with the tools you already have.

But I’m also building something bigger.

Day 39/153; These are 3 things I wish I knew when I started designing on my phone:

1. Stop obsessing over effects.
2. Learn hierarchy & spacing.
3. Start building your portfolio early.

Your first designs don’t have to be perfect. They just have to exist.

Day 38/153. Do this as a graphic designer and never run out of content ideas again. 👇🏽

For every idea, SHOW the process/result in your content:

• Found a bad flyer? Show the original → redesign it → show the improvement.

• Recreated a popular design? Show the inspiration → your recreation → what you learned.

• Working on a design? Record your screen → show the process → reveal the final design.

• Found a great font? Show the font → show where it works → use it in a design.

• Made a colour palette? Show the colours → explain the combination → apply it to a design.

• Noticed a design mistake? Show the mistake → explain why it’s bad → fix it.

• Improved an old design? Show the old version → your new version → explain what changed.

• Designed for an imaginary brand? Show the brief → your design process → the final result.

• Learned a new trick? Record yourself using it → explain it → show the result.

• Finished a client project? Show the brief → your approach → the final design.

The trick?

Don’t just do design.

Turn what you’re doing into content.

One design can easily become 5+ pieces of content.

Stop looking for content ideas.

Start documenting what you’re already doing.
