Recruitment: NSUBEB Announces Dates For Written And Oral Exams
CBT NOW 25TH MAY, 2026.

The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) has announced Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26, for its written and oral examinations to recruit 1,000 rural teachers.

Dr. Kassim Muhammad Kassim, the Executive Chairman of NSUBEB, made this known in a statement on Thursday, noting that the earlier announcement on the CBT exam slated for Monday, May 15, was made in error.

The NSUBEB boss advised shortlisted candidates to attend the examinations across the designated venues unfailingly with pen and foolscap sheet.

According to the statement, Kofar Hausa Primary School, Keffi, is the venue of the exams for shortlisted applicants from Nasarawa West; Smart School Lafia for Nasarawa South; and the state-owned College of Education, Akwanga, for shortlisted applicants from Nasarawa North.

The shortlisted candidates were further advised to come along with application print-out slips and originals of their credentials for the exams at the designated venues by 8:00 am prompt.

"All shortlisted applicants will be communicated through text messages before May 25, 2026," the statement added.

The initiative targets the empowerment of 28,000 beneficiaries across the country through training in 30 carefully selected vocational and entrepreneurial skills. This programme is a strategic effort to address unemployment and promote sustainable wealth creation among Nigerians.

To ensure inclusiveness and maximum grassroots impact, the NDE is implementing the programme at the electoral ward level, enabling broader access and community-level engagement.

The Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 2 offers free training in vocational, digital, agricultural, and entrepreneurial skills. It’s designed to impart skills thereby empowering individuals with marketable skills to become self-employed and boost the economy.

ON-LINE POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY (DE) SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2022 AND 2023 ADMISSION EXERCISES RESPECTIVELY

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the Plateau State University, Bokkos through the JAMB UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applications in 2022 and 2023 respectively, that the University will conduct its Online Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise for admission into the University for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Academic Sessions respectively, from Wednesday 30TH August 2023 to Thursday 14th September 2023.

ELIGIBILITY
The screening exercise is open to:
Candidates who chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their “First Choice” and scored 170 and above in the 2022 JAMB UTME.
Candidates who chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their “First Choice” and scored 160 and above in the 2023 JAMB UTME.
Candidates who chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their “First Choice” in the 2022 and 2023 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) application respectively; and have any of the following qualifications: Degrees, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), (with a minimum of Lower Credit), and IJMB (with a minimum of 7 points).

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FOR JAMB POST-UTME:

The screening will be done online, following the procedure outlined below:
Visit the University portal: sis.plasu.edu.ng.
Select from the menu option Application forms and click
UTME/DE APPLICATION.
Please fill in Jamb Reg No to verify.
You are expected to enter a Valid/Active email address as used in your Jamb registration. Also, enter a good password and confirm the password.
A Confirmation Link will be sent to your email address.
Click the confirmation Link to log in and complete the application process.
