Job Title: Chief Brand and Marketing Officer (CBMO) – Adashe
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
About the Role
I-Tech Platform Limited is seeking an experienced and creative Chief Brand and Marketing Officer (CBMO) to lead the brand positioning, marketing strategy, and customer acquisition efforts for Adashe, our digital cooperative and savings platform focused on expanding financial inclusion.
The CBMO will be responsible for building a trusted and recognizable brand, driving user growth, and designing marketing strategies that resonate with both urban and informal sector communities across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the overall brand strategy, marketing direction, and customer acquisition initiatives for Adashe.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, community, and offline channels.
• Build and manage the Adashe brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communication platforms.
• Design marketing strategies targeted at cooperatives, market associations, artisans, traders, and informal sector workers.
• Drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention through creative growth campaigns.
• Oversee content creation, social media strategy, and public relations activities.
• Collaborate with the business and product teams to ensure marketing strategies align with product features and market needs.
• Lead community activation programs, field marketing, and grassroots brand awareness initiatives.
• Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, including customer acquisition cost, campaign ROI, and brand engagement.
• Build and manage relationships with media partners, marketing agencies, and community influencers.
• Ensure the Adashe brand communicates trust, reliability, and financial empowerment to its target audience.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
• Minimum 7–10 years experience in marketing, brand management, or growth marketing.
• Experience building or scaling consumer-facing digital products, fintech, or financial services brands.
• Strong experience marketing to Nigeria’s informal sector, including market traders, cooperatives, artisans, and community groups.
• Proven ability to execute grassroots marketing and community-driven growth strategies.
• Strong skills in brand storytelling, digital marketing, and campaign management.
• Experience managing marketing teams and agencies.
