A day filled with warmth, smiles, and the true spirit of Christmas here at the State House! 📸✨ It was an absolute honour to have the opportunity to photograph Her Excellency, , the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as she hosted the annual Children's Christmas Brunch today, Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Abuja.
The atmosphere was nothing short of magical. Seeing the pure joy and excitement on the faces of the children from the Abuja Children's Home and the Vine Heritage Home Foundation was a powerful reminder of what this season is all about: love, compassion, and unity. From a spirited national anthem competition to the festive treats and gifts, every moment was designed to bring hope and happiness to these young hearts.

Her Excellency truly embodies grace and a deep commitment to uplifting the vulnerable in our society. It was inspiring to capture her interacting with the children, reading from her beautiful book, "The Christmas Story", and spreading a message of hope and hard work for the new year, 2026. The genuine warmth she exudes is truly a sight to behold and a privilege to document.

These photos are more than just images; they are snippets of a day where the power of giving and community shone brightly.

What an incredible day, October 25, 2025, connecting with tech lovers, testers, and curious minds in the Abuja tech space. The energy at Merit House, Maitama was simply unmatched. The theme, "Start, Grow, and Lead with a Tech Career," truly came to life through inspiring conversations, real networking opportunities, fun games, and that perfect relaxed outdoor atmosphere.

It was amazing to witness so many people passionate about starting, growing, and leading in their tech journey. Whether they were a tester, developer, designer, product manager, cybersecurity enthusiast, or just exploring tech, there was something for everyone.

Day 3: Wednesday, October 15, 2025

The final day was all about consolidation, looking towards the future, and celebrating the industry's milestones. The atmosphere was a fantastic mix of focused business closing and enthusiastic wrap-ups.

The morning sessions focused heavily on artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM), discussing pathways to formalization and integration into the formal supply chain—a critical area of focus for the sector’s holistic growth.

The closing plenaries really solidified the key takeaways from the week: clear policy direction, massive investment potential, and a unified vision for a globally competitive Nigerian mining sector.
As the official lead photographer, it was an honor to capture the moments of handshake agreements, the vibrant energy of the exhibition tear-down, and the genuine camaraderie among delegates who are driving this vital industry forward.

The week culminated in a spectacular Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, celebrating the pioneers and innovators of the last decade. It was a perfect end to three days packed with progress and collaboration.

We are back with highlights from Day 2 of the 10th Anniversary Nigeria Mining Week 2025! ⛏️💎

Day 2: Tuesday, October 14, 2025

Day 2 shifted into high gear with a deep dive into practical solutions, innovation, and key partnerships. The focus was firmly on operational excellence and attracting the necessary finance to unlock Nigeria's vast potential.

The exhibition floor was buzzing with activity! I spent much of the day capturing the amazing technological advancements displayed by local and international exhibitors—seeing the new exploration equipment and sustainable practices being introduced to the Nigerian market was a visual treat.

The conference sessions were equally engaging, covering everything from securing investments to enhancing community relations and ensuring environmental sustainability. It was incredible to document these candid moments of networking, deal-making, and knowledge exchange. The commitment from all stakeholders to move the Nigerian mining sector toward "Global Relevance" was truly evident.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this event such a resounding success. The passion for growth in this sector is palpable.

Throwback to an incredible experience as the lead photographer for the landmark 10th Anniversary Nigeria Mining Week 2025 in Abuja! 🇳🇬✨ I’m excited to finally share some of my favorite moments and perspectives from behind the lens.

Day 1: Monday, October 13, 2025

The energy on the first day was absolutely electric! The event, themed "Nigerian Mining: From Progress to Global Relevance," kicked off with a powerful opening ceremony and high-level discussions aimed at shaping the future of Nigeria's solid minerals sector.

It was fascinating to capture the interactions between government leaders, global investors, and technical innovators all gathered at the Abuja Continental Hotel. From dynamic panel sessions outlining the government's key priorities to the launch of the first-ever exclusive Deal Room for investment facilitation, the day was packed with insight and opportunity.

As the photographer, I had a front-row seat to history in the making, documenting the collaborations that are driving reform, investment, and sustainability across Nigeria's mining value chain. The passion and expertise in the room were truly inspiring!
