Today, I am excited to announce the launch of my new startup - Selligate Technologies Limited.
My name is Siyaka, CEO and founder of Selligate. Just like you, I used to have a ton of problems running our e-commerce business, Injina Store. I was always struggling to hide my pain whenever we sent an item to a customer with a “pay on delivery” option, pay the shipping cost of say ₦5,000, and the customer ended up rejecting the item with some flimsy excuses. The other painful part is that we would have to pay again to return the item.
This inhuman behavior is common among many African customers and almost every one of them doesn’t like to pay ahead of delivery because of the fear of “What I ordered versus what I got”.
Additionally, we were wasting marketing costs as we kept having orders from the regions where our courier agents were absent.
With these problems, there was no way to scale and grow our e-commerce business.
After trying a lot of options – none of which solved the problems, I and my team decided to plant distributors in every city and town to help us offload the delivery hurdles with a win-win profit-sharing ratio.
To truly achieve this, we built Selligate, a tech-enabled seamless application to manage the distributors, customers, and order deliveries.
To cut the story short, within three (3) months of launching and using the application, our monthly sales revenue skyrocketed by 280%. We were happy and our distributors were happy.
We then discovered that we just struck a gold of human assets that when utilized can generate unlimited wealth. You can call this “Uber” of E-commerce.
Selligate is a result of our passion, dedication, and sleepless nights. It’s why we built it to be unique.
Our mission is to make it easy for e-commerce businesses to scale and grow their revenue and profits faster without experiencing pains in deliveries as they adopt the hyper-local distribution network model.
