📍 FCT – Abuja

ISOC NG organized a successful Safer Internet Day 2026 celebration in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, on 10th February 2026, bringing together students, teachers, parents, youth groups, and key community stakeholders under the theme “Smart Tech, Safe Future.”

As Nigeria’s capital and a hub for innovation and policy engagement, Abuja played a strategic role in promoting online trust and safety. The event focused on educating participants on responsible digital use, data privacy, cyber hygiene, and the importance of building a respectful and secure online environment.

Through interactive sessions and practical discussions, participants were empowered with knowledge on how to identify online risks, avoid misinformation, protect personal information, and use emerging technologies responsibly.
