Day 7 📝

Remember today is making an infographic for a topic.

My friend Fatimah Ismaila proposed the idea of merging my Fashion and Graphics business into one brand instead of having them separately.

Thus I thought why not use this challenge as an opportunity to do so. Thus the reason why the infographic is about re-branding.

So here is a little notes on what re-branding means, some reasons for re-branding and the steps to re-branding.

It's Day 6

However instead of the actual challenge of making a dance crew poster I decided to make an independence poster since today is my countrys' (i.e. Nigeria) independence day.

Alhamdulillah... it's day 5 😁

And I hear wedding bells😏. So who's getting married?

I don't know about you but for me it's not anytime soon. But you can comment the year you wish to get married. And if you're married, what's your advice for we the singles🥺.

If you happen to know any Adeerah and Adeel getting married, let them know their invitation cards are ready for printing 😌. And it's a courtesy of mua☺️.

So far in this challenge, this was this hardest 😪. But Alhamdulillah, I pulled through.

Day 4 ✉️

It's business card day. You might notice that there isn't a day 3. Yes, it's because I couldn't find inspiration for it. But I guess the inspiration doubled for this 😁.

I not only made the business but also the logo. And it's actually for a real brand.

Olvmix Visual is an upcoming film making company/organization.

It's Day 2 😋

So day two says magazine cover and like everyone I'm sure the first thing that came to mind was fashion. Make a fashion magazine cover.

Yes, I did go to pinterest to get ideas and all. I was even about to start my design when all of a sudden I thought, why fashion? I mean I love fashion but let's try something new. Then a question came to mind, what do I love?

And guess the answer. Food!! So yes that's how I decided to make a food magazine cover instead. And God, I'm so feeling it😍. Maybe I should really open up my restaurant 😁. Though the food image isn't mine.

It's Day 5🤠

And today is about Pinterest. Which I'd like to believe means Personal Interest (P-interest) 😹.

And you'll agree with me that it does go really well, because really, we go through Pinterest when we want something for our personal interest, be it for work or not. And that is why Pinterest is my number one go to for any thing idea. It could for for food, clothing, photography, especially for my graphics idea.

Someone once told me that, one of the characteristics of a good graphics designer is to be able to replicate a design in such a way that it's looks different and unique from the original design. And let's be honest there are sometimes when our brain just refuses to be creative and decides to remain dormant, so in such cases I turn to my very good advisor and friend P-interest

It's Day 4 guys❣️

Not consistent but determined. Today is about Canva.

Remember I mentioned a app that I was using before Pixellab? Well that was Canva. And just like Pixellab, I once downloaded the app, tried to design with it, got horrified at my design so I left it. Until ofcourse I attend a class by . And well let's just say since then, I've gotten significantly better at using Canva. It's significantly easy to use especially with it's template, though I prefer starting from scratch and it's also has varieties of graphics option unlike Pixellab where you'll have to download them and import onto the app. Though you'd have to do the same for pictures while working on Canva.

All in all, Canva is a really great design tool to use whether you are a beginner or a professional. Though it uses data and it's also has a paid version.

It's Day 3🎉🎉🎉.... And yes it should have been posted yesterday but I couldn't meet up due to some unforseen circumstances. But we are back and strong😌.

Day 3 is all about Pixellab 🤭

I remember when I first got the Pixellab app, I didn't know how to use it then so I just left it to keep piling up dust on my phone. That was until I came across a Pixellab graphics design class by Tee graphics and girl did I pray a lot for the friend that introduced me to it. And since then let's just say, it has been my favorite to use especially since it can be used offline.

Honestly, Pixellab has being a very important step in my graphics design skill❣️
