A FEW THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME:

🌸 My name is Grace Ezinne

🌸 I'm a skincare student

🌸I love learning and improving myself

🌸 I'm growth-minded and I'm passionate about it

🌸 I value excellence and want to do things properly

🌸I don't always have everything figured out, but I keep going

🌸One of my biggest dreams is to become a
professional skincare therapist and own a successful skincare brand someday.

🌸Now tell me something about yourself ❤️

Can we normalize not having everything figured out?

Some of us are still learning.
Some of us are still growing.
Some of us are still trying, failing, adjusting, and trying again.

Not everyone has a perfect plan.
Not everyone knows exactly where they're going.
And that's okay.

The pressure to have life completely figured out can be exhausting. Sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is keep moving forward even when the path isn't fully clear.

I'm learning that growth isn't about having all the answers.
It's about being willing to keep showing up while you figure things out.

So if you're feeling behind, confused, or uncertain about your next step, give yourself some grace.

You're allowed to be a work in progress.

And honestly? Most of us are.

THE MOST EMBARRASSING SKINCARE MISTAKE I USED TO MAKE.

I used to think skincare was only important when there was a problem.

If I had no pimples, I ignored my skin
If I had no dark spots, I ignored my skin

Basically, I only cared about skincare when I was already in trouble.

It's like waiting until your roof starts leaking before thinking about maintenance.

Now I understand that skincare isn't just about fixing problems.

It's about preventing them too.

Sometimes the best skincare decisions are the ones you make before your skin starts crying for help.

Am I the only one who used to think this way? 😅

Today I was thinking about how strange growth can be:

One day you feel stuck, then months later you look back and realize you've become a completely different person.

That's exactly how I feel about my skincare journey. There are days when I feel proud of myself because I'm making progress and then there are days when I'm reminded that I still have a lot to learn.

To be honest, those days can be hard.
I put in my best effort
I think I've done well
Then someone points out where I could have done better. At first, it doesn't feel good.

Sometimes it makes me doubt myself
Sometimes I wonder if I'm improving at all.

But I've come to realize something:
Being corrected doesn't mean I'm failing
It means I'm learning
And learning is not always comfortable.

The truth is, nobody becomes good at something overnight.
Every skilled person was once a beginner.
Every expert was once learning from someone else.

So instead of getting discouraged by correction, I'm choosing to see it as part of the journey.

Because every lesson I learn today is helping me become better tomorrow.

Growth is not always easy but it is worth it.

Have you ever had a moment when a correction or criticism ended up helping you grow?

Here's something many people don't realize

A skincare product working very fast isn't always a good sign.

Sometimes people use a product for a few days and suddenly their skin looks brighter, smoother, or lighter.

They get excited and keep using it.

Months later, their skin becomes sensitive, damaged, or develops new problems.

Why?

Because some products create a temporary improvement while quietly damaging the skin barrier underneath.

Watch out for products that cause:

❌ Burning

❌ Persistent redness

❌ Excessive peeling

❌ Unusual sensitivity

❌ Skin that becomes very thin or fragile

Healthy skincare is usually gradual.

The goal isn't fast results.

The goal is healthy, resilient skin that stays healthy.

Have you ever used a product that looked amazing at first but later caused problems?

It's been months since I started my skincare journey and I can't wait to look back one day and say:

"Wow I really started from here".

This journey has been full of learning, mistakes, growth, practice, stress, excitement and improvement.

I'm slowly becoming the skincare therapist I once only imagined.

Thank you everyone that has supported my journey so far 🙏.

You're loved and appreciated.

POV: You tell a skincare student "I used toothpaste to clear my pimples".

My reaction internally:

😟

🏃

Because why are we fighting our skin like it offended us? 😂

Please stop trying random mistures from the Internet on your face ooo.

Your face remembers EVERYTHING.

Nobody warned me that skincare training would make me start observing everybody's skin unconsciously 😭😂.

Cause tell me why I'm talking to this person and my brain is like:
"Hmmm....damaged skin barrier"
"Skin needs hydration"
"Over exfoliating detected 😂

This training has changed me completely.

Omo, adulting, skincare training and life itself really humbled me these past few days 😭😂

I went a little quiet, but your girl is back and still pushing!

Honestly, this journey hasn’t been easy at all… from learning treatments, practicing, making mistakes, correcting myself, and trying to grow every single day but I can truly see how much I’ve improved and it makes me excited for what’s coming.

And guess what???

In just 2 months, I’ll officially graduate from my skincare and spa training 🎉🤭

From student therapist to certified skincare babe loading… 💆🏽‍♀️

Thank you to everyone still here supporting my page, liking my posts, encouraging me, and growing with me. I genuinely appreciate every single one of you.

Now that I’m back, expect more skincare gist, behind-the-scenes, skincare tips, funny trainee moments, glow-up talks, and everything in between.

We’re going to glow differently this season.
