At Excel Mega Computers, ICT Centre we don’t just teach you tech skills but we also teach you how to build a real-world skill those employers, clients, and businesses are demanding.

We deliver professional training to both our partners and to our teaming trainees. During our training engagement last year, we have trained over 500 Trainees (On Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Front End Web Development and Digital Marketing). In that Free Program sponsored by the World Bank in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education and in collaboration with Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS-PROJECT); the Trainees who participated really confirmed the fact that Excel Mega Computers, ICT Centre is really the right place to learn Digital Skills.

More so, as we wrap up our training activities last year, we have equipped over 150 trainees who registered and learnt different digital skills internally with us. More to that, during our training programs under SkillUp Artisans (SUPA), Excel Mega Computers, ICT Centre has prepared over 15 Trainees on a Digital Skill under Cyber Security.

To say the least, 2025 was a meaningful year for us and our teaming trainees. And we truly appreciated the opportunity of providing a professional training to our teaming youths.

And our message is simple, building upon the success we recorded last year. We are very much ready to do more this year.

Last week Tuesday, we activated the long-awaited digital skill program in our centres. This Project is a Free Program sponsored by the World Bank in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education and in collaboration with Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS-PROJECT).

The program is design to create an opportunity for our teaming youths, especially those unable to fund their Digital Skill training to benefit from it. You too can benefit from these professional training arrangements, irrespective of your State of origin, field of study etc by joining today. At the end of this intensive training, the participants will receive globally certified Certificates that will aide them to work either onsite or remotely.

Past Weeks was full of activities. We commenced our orientation classes in all our locations across Aba. We started our orientation on the 12th of November 2024 at our training centre located at Osisioma, and we conducted the orientation classes for our participants near brass and its environs on the 13th of November 2024. And we finally concluded the orientation classes at Excel Mega Computers, ICT Centre Aba on Thursday, 14th November 2024.

The orientation class was an eye opener to the participants. It gives them the opportunity to see their future success in the ICT Sector which can come by acquiring different digital skills. I made them to understand that the Digital skill acquisition is open for Graduates and our Non-graduate alike. The participant were very happy to understand how Digital skills can unlock their potentials whether in their workplaces or as a self-employed graduate and non-graduate.
This Orientation Classes explored:

1.) Why digital skills are essential for every graduate and non-graduates?

2.) The growing demand for digital literacy in our workplaces, and

3.) How we can build or acquire these vital skills to ensure future success.

It was lay bare that the shift in the job market means that having proficiency in digital tools is now a critical requirement for graduates and non-graduates, regardless of their field of study. I made it known to the participants that 75% of all jobs now require some level of digital competency, and this percentage is only expected to increase as industries continue to digitize their processes day by day.

I can feel the eagerness and readiness from their faces. At the end of the Training, some of the participants told me how happy they were to meet Excel Mega in Person having heard the name often in different fora. I am happy because they were happy too.
