Drumroll, please! I just bagged another certification, and you can officially call me an ESSLIP Fellow! Completing the intensive Emerging Social Sector Leaders Ideation Programme (ESSLIP 4.0) with the Center for Development Practice was a total masterclass experience. Big thanks to the Chancellor, Dr. Kemak, and the entire faculty. Every single session was spot-on, deeply analytical, and packed with practical toolkits designed for immediate ex*****on.
As a licensed Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) and Management Consultant focused on business structure, visibility, and strategic clarity, this fellowship sharpens my edge right where enterprise growth meets social impact.
Whether you are running a fast-growing business or a social impact organization, the core engine remains the same: solid structure, good governance, and long-term financial sustainability . While the program covered a lot, two key areas really resonated with me:
1. Advanced Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)
We got our hands on practical toolkits that completely changed how I view tracking impact. It made me realize how crucial baseline assessments are compared to post-program evaluations. Measuring impact is not just about headcounts; it is about proving real, lasting transformation with clear data.
2. Flexible Financial Sustainability for Non-Profits
We explored how non-profits can build reliable, long-term financial health without getting stuck in rigid, traditional funding loops. It is all about creating flexible revenue models, exploring self-sustaining projects, and approaching financial planning with a smart business mindset so the impact never stops.
This wasn’t just about adding another credential to my profile, it was about expanding my capacity to serve both the private and social sectors even better. We are officially open for new collaborations!
