If changing a single phone number on your website requires logging a support ticket and waiting three days for an invoice, you don't really own your website. You're just renting it, expensively.

Our new guide breaks down exactly what goes wrong with web builds before they even launch. We tackle themes stuffed with code you’ll never use, mobile layouts treated as an afterthought (hello, text sitting awkwardly over someone's face), and how to build a foundation you can actually manage yourself.

This carousel shares six real moments from women at Nifty over the past year. The decisions made, the new skills learned and the work that often happens behind the scenes.

For Women's Day, we wanted to celebrate the everyday moments that don't always make it into a portfolio but shape how we grow.

The date also carries an important history. On 9 August 1956, around 20,000 women marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest the pass laws, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire generations.

Happy Women's Day to the women at Nifty and to everyone creating opportunities, solving problems and making a difference every day.

Ever wonder why you'll happily pay a premium for one brand, but hunt for a discount code for another that does exactly the same thing?

That gap has very little to do with product features. It's almost always down to the story a brand tells.

The most successful businesses in the world don't try to tell every story at once. Instead, they pick one of five core storytelling archetypes and master it completely, building their whole identity around a single feeling, lesson or vision.

If your marketing content has felt a bit flat or confusing lately, your archetype might be misaligned.

We broke down the five narrative frameworks used by iconic global brands, including local champions like Nando's. Swipe through the slides below to figure out which lane your business belongs in.

Picture the last discovery call your sales team ran. Chances are the first chunk of it was spent explaining what your business actually does, again, to someone hearing it for the first time.

A good explainer video takes that job off their plate. It does the explaining before the call even happens, so by the time someone's talking to your team, they already get it. No more starting from scratch every single time.

We build videos that do this properly. Get in touch and let's chat about yours.

Five updates. Five platforms. One very busy month for social media.

From AI stepping into ad managers to a feature that vanished almost as fast as it arrived, here's what happened across Instagram, Facebook, X and Reddit this month, and why it's worth a closer look.

We've watched this happen dozens of times. A business creates a high-value video, packs it with insights, and posts it. Then retention metrics drop off completely in the first three seconds.

The problem usually isn't the message. It's the framework of the opening frame.

Tiny editing errors create immediate friction: text placed where platform buttons cover it, slow un-cropped visuals, low contrast. Your audience doesn't fight through visual clutter. They scroll.

At Nifty, we engineer assets to align with human psychology. Swipe through to see the micro-mistakes you might be making, and how to build an opening frame that holds.

Everybody say hi to Bertie Niemand, our new web developer!

Bertie's got one rule for himself: only ship work he's genuinely proud of. And he loves teaming up with people who hold themselves to that same bar. Hand him a gnarly website build or some buggy code, and he'll happily disappear into the details until it's right.

But when he steps away from the desk, Bertie's usually on the mats . He's a dedicated jiu-jitsu guy who never misses a chance to train. He's also a big movie buff, and if there's a thick epic fantasy novel around, odds are he's already deep into it.

So glad you're here, Bertie. Welcome to the team!

A R5,000 Google Ads budget run well will outperform a R20,000 budget run badly, every single time.

In our latest blog, we unpack the most common (and costly) Google Ads mistakes we see in South African accounts, from broad match keywords to skipping conversion tracking, and what to check in your own account right now.

We've watched this happen dozens of times. A prospect lands on your page, reads your pitch, and immediately thinks: "What exactly do they do?"

Research from UC Irvine puts the average screen attention span at 47 seconds, down from two and a half minutes in 2004. If your explanation doesn't land in that window, the prospect scrolls away or heads straight to a competitor who made it obvious.

Brilliant businesses get buried under their own complexity every single day. Nifty exists to solve that exact problem. We translate confusion into clarity so your audience actually pays attention.

Let's build your clarity strategy.
