Prof. Dr. Rahinah Ibrahim is the Founder of Grounded Learning (M) Sdn Bhd under Innohub, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr. Rahinah was trained in Innovation Entrepreneurship by Stanford Research Institute (SRI) and ISIS, Oxford University, United Kingdom. degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Stanford University, U.S.A. She has led and involved in the inventions of 21 IPs that are profiled in more than 50 countries. A Fellow of Institute of Value Management Malaysia and the Royal Society of Arts, UK, Prof. Dr. Rahinah is currently Life Member, Malaysian Institute of HR Managers. She was promoted to full Professor within 6 years after getting her Ph.D. Dr. Rahinah was the former Dean of Faculty of Design and Architecture, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She led the Faculty’s “Transformation Vision 2011-2014” fusing design thinking into R&D, which brought forward translational researches into successful real life applications. Dr. Rahinah was awarded the “Top Research Scientists Malaysia 2012” by the Academy of Science Malaysia and the “National Academic Award (AAN) 2013” by the Malaysian Government. This Top National Awarded Scientist recently was awarded the “Innovation Achiever’s Award” by the CIOB UK during International Innovation & Research Awards 2016. The Built Environment Informatics Research she leads produces theories and computer-integrated high impact social and technology innovations. Dr. Rahinah is a strong believer on contributing back to the community from knowledge, innovation and social aspects. Her impressive social contributions had received “Special Congress Recognition” in 2004 by Congresswomen Anna Eshoo, Member of the United States House of Representatives, upon recognition of her outstanding service to community at Stanford University.
