*Robotics Navigation Programming in 3D Space*

For the last session of our Aerial Robotics Online Workshop series, we'll be learning about drone navigation programming in Gazebo simulation.
A 3D robotics simulation such as Gazebo is a great tool to run our programs and commands before we execute it on a real drone.

Team Aerial Robotics Trainer daripada Aeronerve Drone Academy telah diberi peluang untuk menyampaikan pembentangan tentang potensi Teknologi Drone kepada pembangunan ekosistem kemahiran dan pendidikan di Malaysia.
Kami juga berkesempatan melakukan demonstrasi penggunaan aplikasi Computer Vision di dalam sistem operasi drone bagi membolehkan ia diterbangkan secara autonomous di dalam ruang yang terhad.

Empowering Drone Technology in Malaysia

Aeronerve had successfully trained 25 polytechnic experts from Politeknik Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah, Kedah for COEX Clover Drone Assembly and Configuration Intensive, 5 days Training Course.

Coex Clover Drone is an open-source programmable quadcopter kit that gives a chance to learn from physics to programming and telemetry. With a COEX Clover drone, we also provide an understanding of the Robot Operating systems and Drone Simulation.

**Autonomous Drone Demonstration**

For indoor flight operation, The COEX Clover Drone utilizes Optical Flow technology to estimate its position and relative motion in space.
At the same time, by using its camera, it also identifies the ArUco markers in order to calculate distance and to determine orientation for precise navigation.

What an invaluable experience!!

Aerial Robotics Online Competition has come to an end on the 7th of August 2021.

After countless hours of training sessions, preparations, and numerous ups and downs, we have successfully brought everything to the table during the five days competition.

Competing in an international-level competition does bring a different kind of competitive vibe.💪

All the participants have done their very best in displaying their knowledge and skills to complete all the given challenges.

Robot operating systems, python programming, computer vision, and autonomous drone operation are among the skills that were put to the test.

Along with critical thinking, and oral presentation skills, this competition did require the participants to be well-rounded and multiskilled.

Congrats to all the experts and technical team from COEX - Copter Express, for organizing such an exciting event.

It was definitely a wonderful journey for us, and also for everyone involved.

The official result will be announced during the closing ceremony on 16 August 2021. Let's pray for the best for team Malaysia! 🇲🇾🇲🇾.
