😅 POV: Your entire process depends on one Excel file

One file tracks everything.
Requests, approvals, status updates, comments, deadlines—everything is inside that spreadsheet.

At first, it feels manageable.

But over time, problems start to appear:

✅ Too many versions of the same file
✅ Approvals are hard to track
✅ Important knowledge sits with one person
✅ Manual errors happen easily
✅ The process becomes harder to manage as work increases

Excel can be helpful, but when a whole operation depends on one spreadsheet, the risk becomes much bigger than most teams realise.

During User Acceptance Testing, the goal should not be to simply check whether every button works.

The real question is whether the system can support actual day-to-day operations.

That means testing with:

✅ Realistic business scenarios
✅ Suitable and representative test data
✅ Users who understand the process
✅ Clear expected results
✅ Proper issue tracking and sign-off

Instead of testing one function at a time, users should also test complete workflows—what happens from the first action until the process is fully completed.

This helps uncover issues that may not appear during technical testing.

A system is ready when it works for the people and processes it was built to support.

Launching a new system can feel like the finish line, but in reality, it is only the beginning.

If users find the system difficult to understand, are not properly trained or continue using old manual methods, the organisation may never see the full value of the investment.

Successful adoption needs more than technical deployment.

It also requires:

🕌 Solat Culture Programme – August

Alhamdulillah, the WebGeaz team recently continued our Solat Culture Programme with a session focused on the basic requirements and pillars of solat.

Among the topics discussed were:

✅ The six conditions that make solat obligatory
✅ Conditions for a valid solat
✅ Aurat requirements for men and women
✅ The essential pillars of solat

It was a useful opportunity to refresh our understanding of the fundamentals and reflect on how we can improve the way we perform our daily prayers.

🤖 AI in compliance systems should be practical, not complicated.

There are many ways AI can help organisations manage compliance work more efficiently.

It can support tasks such as sorting documents, extracting important information, summarising records and preparing draft reports.

But AI should not become a shortcut around proper governance.

Any information produced by AI still needs to be reviewed, validated and approved by the right person before it is used for an important compliance decision.

A well-designed system should make that process clear and traceable.

The goal is simple: let AI handle some of the repetitive work, while people remain responsible for the decisions that matter.

Use AI to support the process. Keep governance in control.

🔧 A successful system needs more than a successful launch.

Going live is only the beginning.

After deployment, a system still needs to be monitored, maintained and supported as users begin using it in their day-to-day operations.

This is why long-term support matters.

🕌 Solat Culture Programme – July

Alhamdulillah, our July Solat Culture Programme provided another meaningful opportunity for the WebGeaz team to strengthen our understanding of **wuduk and solat**.

The session focused on the essential and recommended practices in wuduk and solat, helping participants better understand the differences between what is **wajib** and **sunat**, as well as the importance of performing each act correctly.

The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants could raise questions, clarify common uncertainties and deepen their practical knowledge.

Beyond expanding our understanding, this programme serves as a valuable reminder that continuous learning also plays an important role in strengthening our daily ibadah.

May the knowledge shared benefit everyone and help us improve the quality of our worship, Insya-Allah.
