The most dangerous person in your office isn't a hacker sitting in a basement somewhere.

It's a good, hardworking employee who thinks cybersecurity isn't their job.

And honestly? That's not their fault. Most organisations treat security as an IT problem — something handled behind the scenes, invisible until something goes wrong.

But here's the reality: 9 out of 10 breaches start with a human action. Not a technical failure. A human one.

Which means the most powerful security tool your company has isn't software. It's you.

5 small habits that make your whole organisation safer:

1. Lock your screen every time you step away — even for a minute
2. Pause before you click any link, even from someone you know
3. Report anything that feels off — you don't need to be certain
4. Never share login credentials, even with your own team
5. Keep your software updated — those reminders exist for a reason

None of these take more than a few seconds. Together, they make a meaningful difference.

Security isn't about being paranoid. It's about being a little more intentional, every day.

Share this with your team — because a secure organisation is built one habit at a time. 🔒

🚫 Don't Get Tricked by These Myths!

When it comes to cybersecurity, believing the wrong information can leave your organisation vulnerable.

This month, we're busting 3 common security myths:

📱 Myth #1: "My phone is too small to matter."
Reality: Mobile devices store valuable company and personal data, making them attractive targets.

📶 Myth #2: "Free Wi-Fi is just free Wi-Fi."
Reality: Public Wi-Fi can expose your data if you're not using a secure connection.

👥 Myth #3: "Insider threats are always malicious."
Reality: Many insider incidents happen accidentally through everyday actions.

Cybersecurity starts with awareness. The more we understand the facts, the better we can protect ourselves and our organisations.

💬 Which myth surprised you the most? Let us know in the comments!

Quick question — is your password on this list?

123456
Password1
Welcome1
Summer2024
[YourCompanyName]123

If it is — or something close to it — attackers already have it. These aren't guesses. These are the actual most reused passwords found in corporate data breaches.

And here's the uncomfortable truth: most of us have used at least one variation of these at some point. No judgment — the way we were taught to create passwords ("add a capital and a symbol!") was never actually secure.

Here's what actually works:

✔ Length over complexity — "BlueSkyMorningCoffee" is stronger than "Tr0ub4dor!"
✔ One password per account — reusing them is the #1 way breaches spread
✔ A password manager — so you never have to remember more than one

Takes 20 minutes to sort out. Could save your company from a very bad week.

Tag a colleague who still uses their pet's name as a password. You know who you are. 👀

🔐 Not every insider threat is intentional. Sometimes, it's just a habit.

Think about your daily routine:
💻 Leaving your laptop unlocked while grabbing coffee.
📧 Forwarding work emails to your personal account.
🔑 Sharing a login "just this once."
📁 Saving company files to an unapproved cloud drive.

These actions may seem harmless—but they can expose your organisation to unnecessary cyber risks.

Before you click, share, or walk away from your desk, take a moment to ask yourself:
"Would this put company information at risk?"
Small habits make a big difference in keeping your workplace secure.

👉 Share this reminder with your colleagues and help build a stronger security culture.

🔑 Your password is more than just a login—it protects your identity, your work, and your organisation.

Cybercriminals don't always break in—they often log in using stolen credentials.

Before entering your password, take a moment to think:
🛑 Is this website legitimate?
📧 Was this login request expected?
🔍 Does anything feel unusual?

A few simple habits can prevent major security incidents:
✅ Use a strong, unique password for every account.
✅ Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
✅ Never share your passwords with anyone.
✅ Report suspicious emails, login pages, or password requests to your IT team immediately.

Remember, protecting your credentials isn't just about safeguarding your own account—it's about protecting your colleagues, your customers, and your organisation.

🔐 Your Password Is the Key — Are You Handing It to the Wrong Person?

It only takes one stolen password for attackers to gain access to emails, files, and sensitive company information.

Before you enter your credentials, take a moment to ask yourself:
🔎 Is this website legitimate?
🔎 Was this login request expected?
🔎 Does anything seem unusual?

A few simple habits can make a huge difference:
✅ Use a strong, unique password for every account.
✅ Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) whenever available.
✅ Never share your password with anyone.
✅ Report suspicious emails or login requests to your IT team.

Remember: Cybersecurity isn't just an IT responsibility—it's everyone's responsibility.

💬 Have you ever received a suspicious login or phishing email at work? Share your experience (without revealing sensitive details) and help others stay vigilant.

Every day, thousands of employees face this exact moment. 👇

A message lands in your inbox. Something about it feels slightly wrong — the sender name looks off, the request seems unusual, the link doesn't quite match the company it claims to be from.

And in that moment, you have two choices ✌️

You ignore it.
You tell yourself you're probably overreacting. IT is busy. You don't want to look paranoid in front of your colleagues. You close the tab and get back to work.
48 hours later, your company's systems are locked. Customer data is gone. The investigation reveals it started with one email — the one you weren't sure about.

Or you report it.
Takes 60 seconds. You screenshot it, forward it to IT, and write two sentences: "This felt off. Sender looked wrong." That's it. You're done.
Your IT team investigates, confirms it was a phishing attempt, and blocks the sender before anyone else in the company clicks it.

You just stopped a breach.

Here's what most people don't realise: your gut feeling when something looks wrong is not paranoia. It's pattern recognition. And it's one of the most powerful security tools your organisation has — if employees are willing to use it.

The difference between those two outcomes isn't technical skill. It's one 60-second decision.

Which choice would you make? 👇

Share this with someone at work who needs to see it — it might be the most important thing they read today. 🔒

That weird message you got at work? Don't ignore it. 👇

Most employees who receive a suspicious email or text do one of two things — they click it without thinking, or they close it and hope for the best.
Both are the wrong move.

Here's the thing: You just need to know 3 simple steps — and they take less than 60 seconds.

Step 1 — Stop. Don't click, reply, or delete.
The moment you interact with a suspicious message, you could be giving attackers exactly what they need. Even replying to confirm your email address is enough.

Step 2 — Screenshot it and note the details.
Capture the sender's name, the time you received it, and anything that felt off. This helps your IT team investigate quickly.

Step 3 — Forward it to your IT or security team.
You don't need proof. You don't need to be certain. Suspicion alone is enough — and your IT team would rather receive 10 false alarms than miss one real attack. One reported message can stop a company-wide breach before it starts.

Save this post and share it with your team — you never know who needs a reminder today.

Does your company have a clear process for reporting suspicious messages? Drop a "yes" or "no" in the comments — you might be surprised how many people don't know where to report.

🚨 RED FLAG ALERT: These Emails May Look Legitimate — But They Could Cost Your Company Thousands. 🚨

Cybercriminals are no longer relying on obvious scams or suspicious links alone. Modern Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks are designed to appear urgent, familiar, and trustworthy — pressuring employees into making quick decisions before verifying the request.

⚠️ Watch out for these major warning signs:
❌ Urgent payment requests
❌ Sudden bank account changes
❌ “Confidential” or secretive instructions
❌ Emails from executives demanding immediate action
❌ Unexpected attachments or links
❌ Existing email thread hijacking
❌ Requests to “verify later”

Attackers are exploiting trust, urgency, and routine business processes to bypass even strong security controls. One rushed decision is all it takes.

🛑 STOP. VERIFY. CONFIRM.

If something feels unusual — even from a trusted sender — verify through another communication channel before taking action.

🔐 Awareness is your first line of defense against modern cyber threats.
