𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀?
At Phoenix Summit 2026 Bangladesh's largest cybersecurity event, in Dhaka Suresh Sankaran Srinivasan, Group Head of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy at Axiata, took the room inside autonomous offensive operations, where hashtag agents now run the majority of an intrusion on their own, from recon to exfiltration, and exploits arrive before the patch does.

The economics of attack and defense have shifted:
• Offence is now autonomous, continuous and machine-speed
• No team can simply hire its way back to parity
• The same autonomy driving the threat, governed well, becomes the defense

ACFC's answer is HELIOS 2.0 an agentic offensive engine, developed in-house and governed by design.

At the recent 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗗𝗣𝗔 & 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, hosted by H One Private Limited, Suresh Sankaran Srinivasan, Group Head of Cybersecurity & Data Privacy, took on a problem faced by Sri Lankan enterprise: data-privacy mandates are tightening, but meeting them is not the same as being secure.

𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
• Compliance proves you were in control on audit day, not whether you're exposed right now.
• Attacker breakout time is down to 48 minutes. That gap is where breaches live.
• The fix is engineering, not paperwork.

Axiata Cyber Fusion Center joined Smart Axiata at the "𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟱𝗚, 𝗔𝗜 & 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆" forum, bringing one question to Cambodia's enterprise leaders: are your defenses compliant or are they prepared?

brought two perspectives to the cybersecurity discussion:
• 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗕𝗖'𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - a panel moderated by Ts. Dr. Prasad Jayabalan, Head of Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture bringing together leaders from the regulator, banking sector, cybersecurity, and technology ecosystem to explore how organizations move beyond checkbox compliance to build true cyber resilience.
• 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 - Fikri Fadzil, Lead Offensive Security, on closing the gap between passing an audit and surviving a real breach.

Under the Technology and Cyber Risk Management Guidelines 2026, adversarial attack simulation is no longer optional for Cambodia's banking and financial institutions. ACFC helps enterprises go beyond it: compliance meets the mandate, resilience withstands the adversary and we build for both.

Axiata Cyber Fusion Center(ACFC) recently hosted a distinguished delegation from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and the Institut Keselamatan Awam Malaysia - IPSOM, Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN).

The visit provided insights into the operations of a cyber fusion center, with discussions focusing on:
• Governance and multi-agency collaboration
• Cyber threat intelligence sharing
• The role of a cyber fusion center in strengthening national cybersecurity resilience
• ACFC’s integrated, in-house model for delivering end-to-end cybersecurity capabilities and expertise

Such engagements reflect ACFC’s ongoing commitment to advancing cybersecurity through knowledge exchange and ecosystem-wide collaboration, helping to strengthen Malaysia’s cyber resilience.
