Modern cameras can not only detect motion but also identify potential threats and reduce false alarms, which was particularly important in the past. AI algorithms help accurately distinguish between people, animals, and even changes in weather conditions, further lowering the likelihood of false alarms.

SECOLINK has expanded the capabilities of its LAN and Wi-Fi communicators (LAN800 and WL800, respectively), allowing them to support up to 16 video zones. Here’s how it works: when the security system is armed and a perimeter-monitoring IP camera detects an intrusion, a signal is sent to the system's communicator, which activates the corresponding zone and triggers an alarm. The siren is activated, and a notification is immediately sent to the user and/or central monitoring station.

Currently, this functionality works with VISAR IP, Hikvision and VIDEOSTAR cameras.
