Job Description
As a Senior Software Development Engineer (Senior SDE) you will help design, develop, and implement solutions for our various products. We use a wide range of technologies internally and look for interesting experiences and skill sets. One day you might be working on a cloud app in AWS, and the next day debugging an Angular Application. We use the right tools for the right job to solve interesting problems on almost any device or platform our customers use. You will add your rich experience to our endeavor, namely: to ship high-quality software that is on time and business-aligned. Responsibilities
● Follow the established Agile/Scrum methodology for software design, development, code reviews, and testing; ensuring product quality and reliability.
● Design, develop, integrate & manage expert solutions that can be shipped on time while complying with standards for usability, security, stability, reliability, and performance.
● Option to work remotely or at office.
● Manage the team of developers, organize works and control their delivery.
● Meet strict software release timelines.
● Propose ways to improve engineering processes and assist in driving their adoption.
● Develop new features as well as efficiently address reported defects in ways that delight our customers.
● Using an Agile/Scrum methodology- discuss requirements, propose solutions, accurately estimate work, and collaborate with others through the entire lifecycle.
● Write code at an expert level that are recognized as sources of improvements and enhancements to our products and processes.
Required Skills
● BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
● 5 years or more of experience in Node, Angular, Java, Javascript, C++ & C #
● Extensive use of Javascript and web stacks & RESTful APIs
● Knowledge of ALM suites such as JIRA,
● A strong understanding of relational databases, query design, and best practices
● Strong back-end development skills, with experience in Mongodb & Mongoose
● Exposure to microservices & typescripts
● Basic AWS skills
● Highly effective communication skills (Proficient in written and verbal English language)
● Expert-level knowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Desired Skills
● Rich experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and build automation processes
● Experience increasing the adoption of unit tests and code validation techniques to ensure deliverables are of high quality and ready for test
● Experience with development of AWS Serverless stack using DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Cognito and AppSync
● Experience with AWS SAM for CloudFormation stack deployment
● Experience in troubleshooting AWS services
● Good knowledge in AWS IAM is a plus
