Project Management Challenge (PMC) 2014 for graduate & undergraduate student (any major) from all universities in South-East Asia by carrying the General Theme "PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR ASEAN DEVELOPMENT" and the topic is "Supporting ASEAN Communities: Narrowing The Development Gap". This competition gives the opportunity to apply the project management concepts so can raise awareness of the importance of project management skills for university students.

Summary of PMC:
Project Management Challenge 2014 (PMC2014) is a boot-camp-cum-competition for students (undergraduate and graduate) from South East Asia Universities and beyond with a specific theme in project management. The event is co-hosted by Project Management Institute (PMI) Indonesia Chapter – Yogyakarta Branch and the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. This event is fully supported by Project Management Institute, Indonesia Chapter.
In the challenge, teams of students are invited to join, to learn, to compete, and to provide their fresh ideas within the framework of Project Management to narrowing the gap of economic growth rate in South East Asia countries through. Initial ideas should be written down as a Mini Project Master Plan (MPMP) as per PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and to be submitted for screening.
All the incoming MPMP will be reviewed by experienced judges from PMI and the top 10 will be invited to the beautiful city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia for the final phase of the competition. During the summit, the ten finalists would learn new knowledge and insights of project management from practitioners; compete for case studies – and have fun.
