Breaking: AI startup Manus is officially splitting from Meta — and it's deleting some user data as it goes. 🚨

The $2B deal, blocked by Chinese regulators back in April, is now being fully unwound. A Tencent-led consortium is buying back Meta's stake, and over Aug 23–24 Manus is wiping data created since the acquisition closed in Dec 2025. Affected users can restore their backups from Aug 25.

Turn on Undo Send: click the gear icon, go to See all settings, find Undo Send, and set a 5, 10, 20, or 30-second window. From now on, right after you hit Send, an Undo button pops up in the bottom-left - tap it before the timer runs out and the email never leaves your outbox. It has saved countless reply-all and typo disasters.

Then master Schedule Send. Compose your email, click the small down arrow next to Send, and choose Schedule send to pick a preset time or set a custom one. Perfect for landing in someone's inbox at the right moment - or firing off that Monday-morning email early.

🚀 $190 billion — that's the new number on Databricks.

The data and AI software giant just closed a $5 billion funding round at a $190 billion valuation, one of the largest private tech financings ever. It's the company's second mega-raise this year — just six months after pulling in another $5 billion plus $2 billion in debt.

The money is aimed squarely at enterprise AI: Databricks plans to pour it into its Unity AI Gateway governance tool and its Genie agentic AI platform. Led by Coatue, with Blackstone, MGX, T. Rowe Price, and Sixth Street Growth joining in, the round shows investors still can't get enough of the agentic AI boom.

Stop scammers before they click through 🛡️

Phishing emails look real, but five quick checks can save your accounts. Before you tap any link or open an attachment:

1. Inspect the sender real address. A misspelled domain is the giveaway.
2. Beware of fake urgency. An account-closes-in-24-hours warning is pressure, not help.
3. Hover over links to preview where they actually lead before clicking.
4. Watch for generic greetings and typos. Real banks use your name.
5. Never log in from an email link. Open a new tab and type the official site yourself.

Sixty seconds of checking beats months of recovering a stolen account.
