Singularity Aerotech Asia (SAT.Asia) is proud to have delivered the recent conclusion of the Kursus Teknologi Pertanian Pintar (IoT Upskilling), organised by the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (MPIB) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM).
This training brought together 30 participants from various agencies and companies, all converging on one goal, to build real capacity in smart farming technology. The programme covered the full spectrum: IoT fundamentals, the convergence of AI and machine learning in agriculture, and the operational realities of automation on the ground.
A highlight of the course was the site visit to SAT.Asia's IoT and Robotics Lab at AMRACE, where participants moved beyond theory and saw, firsthand, how sensor networks, data systems and robotics integrate in practice. For an industry still learning to connect environmental monitoring with real operational data, this kind of hands on exposure is exactly where transformation begins.
At SAT.Asia, this is the work we believe in, equipping the people who run our farms and shape our agricultural policy with the tools and the technical fluency to make Malaysian agriculture more productive, more data driven and more competitive on the global stage.
Congratulations to MPIB, KPKM and BPKLP for driving this initiative, and to every participant who showed up ready to learn. The future of pineapple farming, and Malaysian agriculture more broadly, depends on exactly this kind of investment.
